A lid is operatively associated with a first aperture and adapted to at least move between an open position and a closed position. When in the closed position the lid seals the first aperture such that the seal is watertight. A gate is operatively associated with a second aperture and adapted to at least move between an open position and a closed position. When in the closed position the gate seals the second aperture such that the seal is watertight. A pusher plate assembly is arranged with the container for pushing material contained in the container in a direction towards the second aperture.

Abstract: The present invention concerns a water purification system comprising an ultrafiltration unit, a reverse osmosis unit, and a tank. The ultrafiltration unit is upstream of the tank on an operation conduit and the tank is upstream of the reverse osmosis unit on a reverse osmosis conduit. A backwash conduit is situation between said tank and said ultrafiltration unit.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for an optical scanner comprises a mirror, a coil, a magnetic circuit, and a support connected to the mirror. The mirror has a reflective surface and a periphery. A coil of electrically conductive material consists of a plurality of windings around the periphery of the mirror. The magnetic circuit comprises a magnet having opposite poles generating a magnetic flux therebetween. A support is connected to the mirror, the support rotatably supporting the mirror in the magnetic flux with the magnetic flux intersecting the coil.
