    Abstract: A maximal efficiency solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC), gas turbine (GT) and thermophotovoltaic (TPV) system is described. The anode exhaust of the SOFC is used to drive the GT component, and the waste radiative heat of the SOFC is used to power the TPV component, with all three components producing electrical energy. The turbine exhaust can further be utilized for process heat applications or additional Carnot heat engine applications.
