Abstract: A method for personalizing operation of a building control system of a workspace management system including a user communication device, a hot-desking station, a workstation phone having a first graphical display device. The workstation phone may be communicatively coupled to a workspace management server, the method including receiving, over a communication network, from the workspace management server a first message including an identification of the workspace to be displayed as a QR code on the first graphical display device of the workstation phone. The user communication device may include a camera having a first interface for a first communication channel.

Abstract: A hot-desking system includes a hot-desking station, including a hot-desking station device, and a hot-desk panel configured to display information regarding status of the hot-desking station and a 2D code associated with the hot-desking station. A docking station associated with the at least one hot-desking station includes input and output ports connected to the hot-desking station device. A hot-desking portal controls operation of and configuration of the hot-desking station, the docking station, and the hot-desk panel.
