Abstract: Provided is napkin folding apparatus for folding a napkin around at least one piece of flatware forming a flatware bundle. The apparatus includes a napkin cartridge for receiving a plurality of napkins, at least one flatware cartridge for receiving a plurality of pieces of flatware, a folding assembly having a deck assembly for receiving one of the plurality of napkins and at least one of the plurality of pieces of flatware, and a rolling assembly for rolling the one of the plurality of napkins and the at least one of the plurality of pieces of flatware into the flatware bundle, a transport assembly including an actuator and a gripper assembly movable by the actuator for transporting the flatware and the flatware bundle, a taping assembly, a first lifting assembly, and at least one second lifting assembly.

Abstract: Exemplary embodiments include a hybrid cash recycler device that provides cash handling and extended capabilities for use within a financial institution. The hybrid cash recycler may be configured to support wireless communications with multiple distributed computing devices in a financial institution branch. The wireless connectivity may provide portable command and control capabilities for the hybrid cash recycler. The hybrid cash recycler may be configured to employ queuing mechanisms, in a manner that allows the device to systematically arrange and execute multiple command requests initiated from several computing devices. The hybrid cash recycler may require user authentication prior to completing cash handling services. Upon a successful authentication, requested cash handling services may be completed.

Abstract: A number of enhancements for financial services devices are provided. Financial services devices, as used herein, may include drive-up type financial services devices. These enhancements include user interface improvements as well as increasing functionality of the financial services device. Specific application of the enhancements include drive up financial services devices. The enhancements may include improved ergonomics for customer interaction and multiple display screens, as well as sensors for detection of a customer's vehicle.

The container is capable of being sealed and locked in a tamper proof manner. A tracking device may be included with the container. The container may contain a computing device. The container may then be taken to a designated location having a financial transaction device with which the container can interface. The financial transaction device may be located at a branch of a financial institution or another location, such as at the business itself or at another location.

Abstract: A system and method is provided to enable a financial services device, such as, for example, an ATM or financial services kiosk, to support a variety of card types. The card may be used for login purposes. The financial services device according to exemplary embodiments may be capable of supporting both magnetic strip only cards and EMV type cards. A card is inserted into a card reader, the card type is determined, and the card is removed. When an EMV card is recognized, the financial services may request the card be reinserted into the card reader whereupon it is clamped and held for the duration of interaction with the financial services device.
