  • Publication number: 20240095800
Abstract: A search system employs arrival times with associated confidence scores as search facets for identifying items. The search system identifies a plurality of items based on search input. An arrival time and associated confidence score are determined for each item from the plurality of items. Search results are provided for the plurality of items in response to the search input. The search results are provided based at least in part on the arrival times and associated confidence scores for the plurality of items.

  • Publication number: 20240078583
Abstract: A search system generates custom attributes for use as search facets. User input associated with an image of a target item available on a listing platform is received. The image is analyzed to determine an attribute of the target item as a custom attribute. A value for the custom attribute is determined for each of a number of other items available on the listing platform that are of the same item type as the target item. Search results are provided based at least in part on the values of the custom attribute for the other items.

  • Publication number: 20230414978
Abstract: A variable speed controlled device used for descending, ascending or descending and ascending along a rope such as used in mountain climbing, tree climbing, rescue operations and the like. A friction mechanism controls the speed of the movement of the device along a rope line. A person can quickly and freely ascend a steep slope along a rope line using the device. A person can also descend a steep slope along a rope line and be confident that a friction mechanism will control the rate of descent. An optional locking mechanism may assist with allowing rapid ascent. An optional e-brake mechanism can further ensure the device will lock and prevent further downward movement if the person begins a freefall. The device allows other persons (e.g., a teammate, guide or rescue agency) to safely lower incapacitated or unconscious persons down an alpine mountain, burning building, cliff or the like.

  • Publication number: 20230259979
Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for facilitating identification of sensitive content. In embodiments described herein, a set of sensitive topics is obtained. Each sensitive topic in the set of sensitive topics can include subject matter that may be deemed sensitive to one or more individuals. Thereafter, the set of sensitive topics is expanded to an expanded set of sensitive topics using a first machine learning model. The expanded set of sensitive topics is used to train a second machine learning model to predict potential sensitive content in relation to input content.

  • Publication number: 20230137366
Abstract: A system and method for remote monitoring of patient motor functions includes a computing device that uses captured image data depicting a patient's body part and, based on movement information, detects whether a condition may exist that is affecting motor functions. The body part can be a hand that is tracked as the user performs a tapping exercise. The body part can also include the patient's face during speech and also without speech.

  • Patent number: 11394629
Abstract: Cause and remediation data from one or more prior network incidents can be identified using a determined global similarity between these prior incidents and a current incident. Various network data can be collected, and data determined to potentially be relevant to a current incident can be selected or clustered into a single document or file. This document can have relevant features extracted, which can be used to generate a smaller numerical representation, or fingerprint, of the current incident. This fingerprint may be broken down into three categories of incident data, as may include general, topology, and alert categories. These categories of data can be compared for a current network incident and one or more prior incidents using their respective fingerprints, such as by using cosine similarity determinations. These values can be combined into global similarity values, which can be used to identify similar incidents as well as to provide visualization.

  • Patent number: 11103274
Abstract: Embodiments of the invention provide a laparoscopic morcellating device and method for removing tissue from a body cavity. The morcellating device includes a containment mechanism having an aperture, a cutting mechanism designed to fit into an interior space of the containment mechanism and a retractor mechanism that is coupled to the cutting mechanism. The containment mechanism and cutting mechanism combination surrounds the tissue and the aperture of the containment mechanism is closed around the tissue. The morcellating device further includes a motor for actuating the retractor such that the cutting mechanism constricts and morcellates the tissue. The laparoscopic morcellating device further allows for torque balancing of the retractor mechanism, gas flow regulation of the body cavity, and safety feedback mechanisms that can alert the surgeon.
