Abstract: An example embodiment provides a sensor system including a tag unit and a readout unit. The tag unit includes a first sensor having a stretchable antenna and a stretchable resistor. The tag unit may be configured to create a sensing signal corresponding to a degree of stretching of the stretchable resistor, transmit the sensing signal to the readout unit through the stretchable antenna, and operate in a first region corresponding to a first frequency. The readout unit may be inductively coupled to the tag unit and may be configured to receive and read out the sensing signal, and operate in a second region corresponding to a second frequency. The first frequency may range 30 MHz to 50 MHz, and the second frequency may be different from the first frequency.

  • Patent number: 9782510
Abstract: A photocatalytic device has an ultraviolet light source and a plurality of photocatalytic structures, such as hydrated metallic catalyst surfaces. One or more catalyst substrates are adapted to support a hydroxyl radical reaction with ultraviolet light and water vapor that results in hydro peroxides and hydroxyl ions; an ultraviolet light source provides ultraviolet light to the catalyst substrates. The catalyst substrates comprising a hydrated multi-metallic catalyst having two or more elements or compounds selected from the group: Titanium dioxide, Titanium Platinum, Gold, Silver, Copper, Rhodium, Ruthenium, Lanthanum, Carbon, and Fluoride. In different embodiments, various combinations of these elements or compounds may be used in the catalyst, such as a combination of five or more of the elements or compounds.

  • Patent number: 9733371
Abstract: In the present inventive method, individual traces of seismic data are migrated (41) without any assembling of different midpoints or any summing of different offsets, so that post-migration processing or analysis, e.g. trace alignment, may be applied to the individual migrated traces (42) to compensate for any deficiencies among them, before stack and assembly. Thus, the present invention fully separates the steps of migration (41), assembly (43), and stacking (44), which are combined together in traditional migration. Thus, imaging deficiencies can be measured and addressed in the image space before they are obscured by summation. Afterward, summation can proceed to construct the improved final image (45).
