Patent number: 11954562Abstract: In a general aspect, a quantum computing method is described. In some aspects, a control system in a quantum computing system assigns subsets of qubit devices in a quantum processor to respective cores. The control system identifies boundary qubit devices residing between the cores in the quantum processor and generates control sequences for each respective core. A signal delivery system in communication with the control system and the quantum processor receives control signals to execute the control sequences, and the control signals are applied to the respective cores in the quantum processor.Type: GrantFiled: December 13, 2021Date of Patent: April 9, 2024Assignee: Rigetti & Co, LLCInventors: Matthew J. Patent number: 11917421Abstract: The technologies described herein are generally directed to configuring carrier aggregation zones based on transmission information in a fifth generation (5G) network or other next generation networks. For example, a method described herein can include identifying, by carrier aggregation equipment including a processor, carrier transmission information corresponding to a first carrier signal and a second carrier signal. The method can further include analyzing, by the carrier aggregation equipment, the carrier transmission information to determine first overlap zone information representative of a first carrier overlap zone for the first carrier signal and the second carrier signal. Further, based on the first overlap zone information, the method includes facilitating configuring transmission parameter information representative of a transmission parameter applicable to transmission of the first carrier signal, to enable carrier aggregation by network equipment within the first carrier overlap zone.Type: GrantFiled: February 26, 2021Date of Patent: February 27, 2024Assignee: AT&T Mobility II LLCInventors: Shomik Pathak, Cecilia N. Publication number: 20230205155Abstract: A system for automatically learning and adapting to the energy usage of an equipment installed at a facility or many pieces of equipment at a plurality of facilities, where the system is provided with an initial baseline energy usage signature for the equipment, which is modified by measured energy usage and by at least one peripheral sensor measurement data to create a modified energy usage signature. The system uses artificial intelligence to learn and adapt the baseline energy usage signature to learn the business operation and account for external variables such as temperature variance and increased business flow or an interaction between devices. The smart system can identify when a piece of equipment falls outside of “normal” operation and determines what automatic action is to be taken for that piece of equipment.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 7, 2023Publication date: June 29, 2023Inventors: Albert Subbloie, Christopher J. DeBenedictis, Jacob Marchinus Boerma, William Butler, Jaan Leemet, Kenneth Scott Fassman, Kenneth Buda

Patent number: 11399942Abstract: Medical devices, systems, and methods reduce the distance between two points in tissue, often for treatment of congestive heart failure and often in a minimally invasive manner. An anchor is inserted along an insertion path through a first wall of the heart. An arm of the anchor is deployed and rotationally positioned according to a desired alignment. Application of tension to the anchor may draw the first and second walls of the heart into contact along a desired contour so as to effect a desired change in the geometry of the heart. Additional anchors may be inserted and aligned with the first anchor to close off a portion of a ventricle such that the ventricle is geometrically remodeled and disease progression is reversed, halted, and/or slowed.Type: GrantFiled: April 2, 2020Date of Patent: August 2, 2022Assignee: BioVentrix, Inc.Inventors: Lon S. Publication number: 20210400889Abstract: A disclosed plant identification (PID) pin includes a push pin flat stock base having a central ratchet defining a hole for a pin and defining a screen for an identification number. A knob includes a pointer and defines an opening coincident with the flat stock base hole and configured complementary to the central ratchet. A partial disk rotates around the pin and includes an identification number (IDN) on a face thereof and a boss coincident with the flat stock base hole. Additionally, a pin is designed to push through the flat stock base, the boss of the partial disk and into a tree and anchor the push pin into a woody stock of a plant. A passive electronic identification circuit with the identification number responds to GPS location queries. A seal on the flat stock base is broken via the pin to initiate the IDN for a certain woody plant.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 24, 2020Publication date: December 30, 2021Inventors: Justin Wallace, William Butler, Greg Hamby

Patent number: 11051941Abstract: Medical devices, systems, and methods reduce the distance between two locations in tissue in a minimally invasive manner, often for treatment of congestive heart failure. In one embodiment, an anchor of an implant system may, when the implant system is fully deployed, reside within the right ventricle in engagement with the ventricular septum. A tension member may extend from that anchor through the septum and an exterior wall of the left ventricle to a second anchor disposed along an epicardial surface of the heart. Deployment of the anchor within the right ventricle may be performed by inserting a guidewire through the septal wall into the right ventricle. The anchor may be inserted into the right ventricle over the guidewire and through a lumen of a delivery catheter. Delivering the anchor over the guidewire may provide improved control in the delivery and placement of the anchor within the right ventricle.Type: GrantFiled: November 2, 2015Date of Patent: July 6, 2021Assignee: BioVentrix, Inc.Inventors: Lon Annest, Murray Sheldon, Kevin Van Bladel, Ernie Heflin, William Butler, Andrew Wechsler, John Bower, Rovil Arcia

Patent number: 10949484Abstract: Systems and methods for graphically representing a research relationship. A user operating a user device provides a search input for a target entity. An input detector receives the search input. A database searcher retrieves publications associated with the target entity from a plurality of databases, at least some of which being jointly contributed to by the target entity and associated entities. A publication compiler determines a number of publications for the target entity and a number of publications for the associated entities. A user interface generator generates a GUI representing a research relationship between the target entity and the associated entities. The target entity and the associated entities are represented as objects having a size corresponding to the number of publications, with the objects connected via connectors which represent joint contribution to one or more of the plurality of publications by the target entity and a respective associated entity.Type: GrantFiled: December 28, 2018Date of Patent: March 16, 2021Assignee: Wellspring Worldwide Inc.Inventors: Robert Lowe, Matthew Hamilton, William Butler
