    Abstract: Plates, e.g. aluminum, are carried from one station to another in a plate treating apparatus by means of stabbing a pin into the plate at two points, thereby to brad the plate to at least two anvils. The anvils move on an endless chain from station to station, and the plate is released from the anvils at the final station.
