  • Patent number: 11952069
Abstract: A cycling computer includes a housing for enclosing an electronics package and a mount for removably securing the housing to the front of a bicycle. The housing has a wedge-shaped profile defined by a leading edge and a lower front surface extending rearward and downward to a bottom surface. The computer mount includes a cradle for removably receiving the housing. A bracket arm extends between the cradle and a mounting adapter which is used to connect to a handlebar or otherwise. The cradle further includes a curved underside surface extending rearward from a forward edge that is sized and shaped to align with the lower front surface of the computer housing to form a substantially smooth and continuous aerodynamic surface from the leading edge of the computer housing to a rear edge of the cradle.

  • Publication number: 20160265412
Abstract: A method of controlling exhaust emission of a machine is provided. The method includes coupling a control unit with an engine of the machine. The method also includes connecting at least one aftertreatment device to the engine of the machine. The at least one aftertreatment device is adapted to control the exhaust emission of the machine. The method further includes receiving, by the control unit, an input signal from the at least one aftertreatment device The method includes identifying the at least one aftertreatment device based on the input signal. The method also includes correlating the input signal with the data stored in the data storage module. The method further includes selecting a mode of operation associated with the at least one aftertreatment device. The method includes controlling the exhaust emission of the machine based on the mode of operation.

  • Publication number: 20160236693
Abstract: An electric power supply system for a machine is provided. The electric power supply system includes a first battery for supplying power to a plurality of electrical components during an operating state of the engine. The electric power supply system includes a first contactor to establish an electric communication between the first battery and the engine for cranking the engine. The electric power supply system includes a second battery for supplying power to plurality of electrical components during a non-operating state of the engine. The electric power supply system includes a second contactor to establish an electric communication between the second battery and the plurality of electrical components. The electric power supply system includes a controller that receives and determines a state of the engine. The controller actuates at least one of the first contactor and the second contactor to communicate the first battery and the second battery.
