  • Patent number: 7677071
Abstract: An apparatus is disclosed for roll forming metal components including substantially channel-shaped members for use in a building structure. The apparatus includes a support frame assembly having front and rear portions. A mechanism is provided for selectively feeding at least one metal strip into the support frame assembly, the metal strip having a pair of side edges and a center web. A plurality of driver roll elements are mounted along the support frame assembly and are adapted to move the metal strip through the frame assembly. Finally, a plurality of spaced idler forming rolls are mounted for free rotation in pairs along the support frame assembly. The idler forming rolls are adapted to simultaneously air form the side edges of the metal strip into angularly extending side flanges by urging the side edges in opposing directions from the center web as the metal strip is moved along the frame assembly by the driver roll elements.

  • Patent number: 6572811
Abstract: A method is provided for rapidly forming a cementitious panel. A cementitious mixture is introduced into a mold configured to provide the desired surface appearance and profile of the cementitious panel. The cementitious mixture is then subject to an accelerated curing process by applying microwave energy to the cementitious mixture for a predetermined time period. After a relatively short resting or cooling period, the resulting cementitious panel is ready to be removed from the mold.

  • Patent number: 4205496
Abstract: A wall paneling system consisting of a strip horizontally secured to an abutment and provided with a continuous groove, a first support provided with a head positioned within the groove of the strip and configured so as to permit the first support when so installed to pivot about the groove of the strip, a plurality of bars secured in spaced relationship at their top ends to the first support, a second support to which the bottom ends of the bars are secured and which is provided with a continuous groove, a third support provided with a head positioned within the groove of the second support so as to permit rotation between the second and third supports, a second strip horizontally secured to an abutment, a first plurality of interlocking wall panels having flanges secured to adjacent bars of the plurality of bars, and a second plurality of panels secured between the third support and the second strip to form a ceiling.

  • Patent number: 4192117
Abstract: A paneling system having a supporting member and a plurality of panels each of which is provided at the ends thereof with interlocking flanges, the interlocking flange located at one end of the panel having a portion extending from the panel to the supporting member engaging same and thereafter extending away from the supporting member terminating in an end that is positioned in spaced relationship from the remainder of the flange, a fastener securing the flanges to the supporting member, and wherein the interlocking flange at the other end of the panel has a portion extending from the panel which engages only a part of the corresponding portion of the other interlocking flange extending to a point near the supporting member and thereafter backwardly toward the end of the other interlocking flange terminating in an end which engages the end of the other interlocking flange.
