  • Patent number: 8260616
Abstract: A system and method for generating audio content. Content is automatically retrieved from an original website according to a predetermined schedule to generate retrieved content. The retrieved content is converted to one or more audio file. A hierarchy is assigned to the one or more audio files to provide an audible website that mimics a hierarch of the retrieved content as represented at the original website. The audible website is stored in a database for retrieval by one or more users. A first user input is received indicating an attempt to access the original website. The audible website is indicated as being associated with the original website in response to the user selection. Portion of the audible website are played in response to a second user input.

  • Patent number: 7966184
Abstract: Systems and methods for an audio-based content management, navigation and retrieval system are provided. The system translates and organizes content, for example text, Podcasts, RSS, pictures, video, into audio output, and provides intelligent access to the content for use on the internet, mobile phones, MP3 devices, or other digital devices. A user may listen to and navigate content by listening to streaming audio and performing simple keystroke or audio commands from an Internet enabled or other digital device.

  • Patent number: 4505759
Abstract: A method for the heat treatment of oxygenated and lightly doped silicon single crystals provides a conductive silicon substrate which draws off stray currents from adjacent n-channel and p-channel transistors, preventing latch-up in CMOS integrated circuits. A lightly doped oxygenated, single crystal silicon wafer is heated at 1000.degree. to 1150.degree. C. to out-diffuse oxygen from the surface layer. After device fabrication on this denuded surface, the wafer is heated at 450.degree. C. to generate oxygen donors in the bulk of the wafer which then becomes strongly conductive or n-type. The wafer surface will remain lightly doped, either n-- or p-type from the original doping. By suitable masking during the oxygen out-diffusion step, islands of lightly doped p-- or n-type material on the surface may be surrounded by guard rings of strongly conducting n-type material formed in the final heating step at 450.degree. C.

  • Patent number: 4459159
Abstract: A method for making semiconductor integrated circuits which improves and decreases fringing capacitance in semiconductor integrated circuits. An oxygenated, single-crystal silicon lamella is lightly doped, producing an excess of holes, thereby forming a semiconductor substrate. The substrate is used to fabricate semiconductor devices in the usual way, except that density may be slightly increased. After fabrication, the substrate is heated, preferably at 450.degree. C., until resistivity of the substrate has increased so that non-diffused regions of the substrate are substantially non-conductive.

  • Patent number: 4429911
Abstract: A security bar system for physically preventing unwanted opening of a door. The system preferably comprises an elongated, rigid, generally cylindrical bar which is adapted to extend in front of the door between a pair of mounting brackets. The door bar terminates at its opposite ends in flange members which are separated from the major length of the bar by reduced diameter segments of predetermined length. The door bar is adapted to axially penetrate, and be restrained by and between, the bracket members. Each bracket member includes a symmetrical slot geometry whereby to permit mounting of the system in either a right or left sided application. A first mounting bracket includes an elongated slot, the center of which is provided with a clearance hole to axially receive one bar flange. The reduced diameter segment of the door bar tracks within the extremities of the slot.
