Abstract: Exemplary embodiments of a method and apparatus are provided where a biological interface having magnets can be used to measure electrical activity. A biological interface is provided having a first magnetic attachment having a first magnet with a first polarity, a second magnetic attachment having a second magnet with a second polarity opposite to the first polarity, and a sensor attached to the second magnetic attachment for recording electrical activity. The sensor can be an electrode having a first surface and an opposite second surface, where the first surface is attached to the second magnetic attachment.

Abstract: A ternary composite with thermal stability of up to at least 200.degree. C. Is formed using a thermally stable matrix resin, high tensile fibers, and borosilicate or sodium tetra borate glass particulates. The composite has stability to acids, toxic wastes and may be formed into sheets, shapes, tubes, containers, flooring materials and the like for use in aerospace, defense, automotive, industrial, nuclear containment or simply building material applications.
