  • Publication number: 20260116680
Abstract: A mobile jettison rack includes a base frame, a lift jack, and a ramp. The lift jack is coupled to the base frame and includes a wheel that is configured to contact a deck of a ship to elevate and mobilize the base frame over the deck when the lift jack is extended. The ramp includes a fixed ramp portion and an adjustable ramp portion. The fixed ramp portion is inclined towards a jettison side of the mobile jettison rack and is configured to receive and support a container that is to be emergently jettisoned towards the jettison side and over an outboard side of the ship. The adjustable ramp portion is coupled to the fixed ramp portion and is inclined towards the jettison side. The adjustable ramp portion has a length that is selectively adjustable to adjust a total length of the ramp.

  • Publication number: 20260084787
Abstract: A remote launcher includes a base frame, a cradle, a cradle actuator, and a launch control system. The cradle is pivotably coupled to the base frame and includes one or more skids that are configured to receive and support an unmanned water-based deployable. The cradle actuator is coupled to the base frame and to the cradle. The launch control system includes a communication interface, a processor, and memory having instructions. The instructions direct the launch control system to receive, via the communication interface, one or more wireless launch signals and then, in response thereto, generate at least one cradle control signal to enable the cradle actuator to incline the cradle to a launch angle.

  • Publication number: 20240086413
Abstract: Methods, systems, and media for presenting search results are provided. In accordance with some embodiments, the method comprises: receiving text corresponding to a search query; determining whether a content rating score associated with the search query is below a predetermined threshold, wherein the score is calculated by: identifying a first plurality of search results retrieved using the search query, wherein each search result is associated with one of a plurality of content ratings classes; and calculating the content rating score that is a proportion of search results associated with at least one of the content ratings classes among the first plurality of search results; in response to determining that the content rating score is below the predetermined threshold, identifying a second plurality of search results to be presented based on the search query; and causing the second plurality of search results to be presented.

  • Patent number: 9957341
Abstract: Biodegradable graft copolymers derived from a carbohydrate, including nitrogen-containing carbohydrates and modified carbohydrates, and at least one ?,?-unsaturated carboxylic acid derivative having superabsorbent properties are disclosed in addition to the substantially adiabatic polymerization process by which the graft copolymers are made. The methods disclosed can be carried out in a variety of currently available stirred and/or continuous commercial reactors. Polymerizations carried out with starch have surprisingly produced substantially quantitative yields of graft copolymer free of residual monomer produced as a moist copolymer. Product work-up typically involves an optional neutralization and drying.

  • Publication number: 20070119699
Abstract: An apparatus for sanitizing air including a reaction unit for generating reactive oxygen species from oxygen in the air received in the reaction unit to be sanitized, wherein airborne contaminants in the air to be sanitized are neutralized by the generated concentration of reactive oxygen species before the air is discharged from the reaction unit. The reaction unit may further generate ozone from the oxygen in the air and the generated ozone is discharged with the air from the reaction unit to sanitize surfaces in the environment into which the sanitized air is discharged.

  • Publication number: 20050120612
Abstract: A fishing lure generally includes a body and a body extension member that extends rearwardly from the body. The body may be in the form of a grub or worm, and the body extension member may be in the form of a tail that extends from the rearward end of the body. Alternatively, the body may be in the form of a crayfish and a pair of body extension members, in the form of arms, may extend from the rearward end of the body. The body extension member includes first, second, and third portions. The first portion extends away from the body, and the second portion connects to the first portion. The third portion connects to the second portion and extends generally toward the body. The third portion includes a forwardly facing inner edge that may be linear, and the first and third portions preferably cooperate to form an acute angle.
