    Abstract: An electric plug system includes a stabilizing base constructed to stand on a horizontal floor surface, a vertical support element supported by and extending from the base and defining a vertical axis, and an electrical socket block coupled to a top portion of the vertical support element and supported thereby. The electrical socket block has a plurality of electrical sockets constructed to receive the plugs of the devices. Also, the system includes an electrical wire extending from the horizontal electrical socket block, down the vertical support element, and along or through the base and there-beyond, the electrical wire terminating in an electrical plug constructed to plug into the wall or floor electrical outlet. The system can include a device holder removably attached to the vertical support element. The base can include a first base portion and a second base portion removably attached to one another.

    Abstract: A desktop hole punch device for punching holes in stacked sheet media such as paper is disclosed. The hole punch device includes at least one adjustable, laterally extending arm having markings thereon indicating standard office paper sizes. The markings are visible to the user through a window in the device. An edge guide at the distal end of the arm aligns the stack of sheet media and a curved page lifter extending from the edge guide reverses the natural curl in the paper stack for better and more precise hole punching.

At least one latch assembly is connected at each end to the first connector housing and has a beam between the ends which extends along and is spaced out from the first connector housing. A projection and an actuation member extends out from the beam of the latching assembly. The second connector housing has an aperture shaped and sized to detachably mate with the projection when the second connector housing with the second conductive member is mated with the first connector housing with the first conductive member. The actuation member is used to release the projection from the aperture when engaged.
