  • Patent number: 9788553
Abstract: Compositions and methods for double-crusted pizza product and method for making are disclosed having a peripheral gap extending around, or substantially around, the product perimeter between upper and lower crusts forming a gap. One embodiment provides a double-crusted layer pizza product having a lower crust layer forming a base; an upper crust layer positioned above the lower crust layer; a sauce layer applied directly adjacent to the upper crust layer on a lower surface thereof and positioned between the lower and upper crust layers; at least one ingredient; and the sauce layer having a water concentration of at least 40 percent weight. A second sauce layer or oil layer can be optionally applied adjacent to an upper surface of the lower crust layer. Cut-outs of the second crust layer can occur prior to or after hot-pressing a billet. Optional methods can include spraying the second sauce layer.

  • Patent number: 9211820
Abstract: A child safety seat has a seat bottom, a seat back coupled to the seat bottom at a seat bight region, and a seating surface defined by the seat bottom and seat back to support a child occupant. A structural element is coupled to the seat bottom, the seat back, or both. A bumper has a substantially rigid component or portion and is mounted to the structural element and protrudes from a side of the child safety seat. • Patent number: 9150126
Abstract: A child safety seat has a seat shell with a seat back portion, a seat bottom portion, and a seating surface. A track is provided on the child safety seat. A slot has a slot length along the track and a slot width defined between two parts of the track. An anchor strap has a belt, two anchoring connectors coupled to and spaced apart along the belt, and a central section between the two anchoring connectors. The central section has a thickness less than the slot width and captured in the slot between the two parts of the track. The two anchoring connectors are sized larger than the slot width thereby preventing removal of the anchor strap from the child safety seat. The anchor strap can slide along the slot length between at least a forward facing anchor position and a rear facing anchor position on the seat shell.

  • Publication number: 20080065134
Abstract: A medical lancing device including a replaceable multi-lancet cartridge. The lancing device includes an advancing mechanism that advances lancets within the cartridge into an active position, separates a protective cap from the active lancet, and energize a drive mechanism of the lancing device. A cap displacement mechanism moves the separated cap out of the travel path of the active lancet. In a first example embodiment, the cap displacement mechanism includes a cantilevered spring arm that displaces the detached cap of the active lancet. In a second example embodiment, the cap displacement mechanism includes a spring-biased cam-driven plunger that displaces the detached cap of the active lancet. Then an activation mechanism releases the energized active lancet to traverse the unobstructed lancing stroke path to pierce the subject's skin at a desired lancing site.
