Abstract: Provided herein is a blade sharpening device. The blade sharpening device may include a block configured to receive one or more blades and a sharpening mechanism. The sharpening mechanism may include one or more sharpening stones, one or more sliding mechanisms configured to receive the one or more sharpening stones, and one or more springs. When the one or more blades are inserted into the block, the one or more springs may provide upward tension to the sliding mechanisms, and the one or more sharpening stones may engage with the one or more blades to sharpen said blades. The sharpening mechanism may further include one or more gibs configured to receive the one or more sliding mechanisms.

Abstract: A receptacle includes a container having a bottom wall and a side wall extending from the bottom wall. The side wall defines an opening and is comprised of a front wall portion and a back wall portion. A lid is secured to the container along the back wall portion at a spring hinge where the lid covers the opening. The front wall portion diverges as it extends away from the base at a first angle and the back wall portion diverges as it extends away from the base at a second angle where the first angle is greater than the second angle. The spring hinge defines an axis of rotation of the lid where the axis of rotation of the lid is outside of the rim of the opening. The lid is shaped and dimensioned such that the lid contacts the rim for substantially the entire periphery thereof.

Abstract: A slide drawer assembly for mounting to a shelf has a mounting bracket configured to slip over a front end of the shelf. A pair of slide channels is spaced apart from and parallel to one another and carried by the mounting bracket. A drawer has a bottom and an upstanding side wall extending around a substantial portion of a perimeter of the bottom. The upstanding side wall includes a pair of opposed sides each having a surface supported by and slidable along a respective one of the channels between a retracted position and an extended position.

Abstract: A storage container has a base with a bottom panel and an upstanding side wall extending generally upward from a perimeter of the bottom panel. The side wall has a top end and a top opening is generally circumscribed by the top end. A reversible lid has a lid perimeter and a cover panel generally within the lid perimeter. The cover panel has a first side and a second side. The reversible lid can be installed on the base in two different selectable orientations including a first orientation with the second cover panel side facing the base and a second orientation with the first cover panel side facing the base. A first seal is created between the reversible lid and the base in the first orientation and a second seal is created between the reversible lid and the base in the second orientation.

A secondary storage container having a secondary base and a secondary lid. A snap fit mechanism is adapted to releasably connect the secondary storage container to the primary storage container. The primary lid may include a recessed cavity adapted to receive at least a portion of the secondary base therein when the secondary base is snap fitted to the primary lid.

Abstract: A sealed portable container for storing a food item such as cheese in a refrigerator, transporting the item to another location, and serving the item to individuals. The container having a housing with an interior adapted to store the food item, and a drawer insertable into the storage container for inserting and removing the food item within the housing. The container forms a seal between the drawer and the housing for retaining the freshness of the item when the drawer is fully inserted into the housing. The drawer may be used as a serving tray, and additionally, the drawer may be used as an integrated cutting surface.

Abstract: A ceramic nanocomposite made from silicon, oxygen and nitrogen is provided hich has a very low dielectric constant, low dielectric loss along with good strength and hardness. The ceramic nanocomposite finds use in millimeter-wave radomes and microwave radomes used on aircraft which must resist erosion from high speed impact with water, ice and dust in the atmosphere.
