  • Publication number: 20240139055
Abstract: Systems and methods for integrating bipedalism augmentation components are provided. A system can receive a request to modify a footwear, comprising a sole formed of an insole and an outsole. The system can select a footplate based on a size of the footwear. The footplate can include a first portion extending along at least a first portion of the sole, a second portion extending along at least a second portion of the sole, wherein the first portion of the footplate has greater rigidity than the second portion, and a mounting component connected to the first portion. The system can provide an indication of the selected the footplate for insertion between the insole and the outsole such that the first portion is located proximate to a heel of the footwear and the mounting component protrudes at least partially from the sole, the mounting component configured to couple to a bracket.

  • Publication number: 20230237245
Abstract: Information identifying a message scanning system is encoded into URLs. A document management system can decode the identifying information to verify that a document accessed via a URL was accessed by a trusted entity rather than by an unknown user. The document management system sends a message including a URL to access a document. When a message scanning system known to the document management system reviews the message for threats, it encodes its identity into a modified form of the URL in the message and uses the modified URL to access the resource. The document management system can decode the identity of the messaging system using a decoding key. Based on the identification, the document management system updates records associated with the document to include the document acce by the message scanning system.

  • Patent number: 10866422
Abstract: MicroLED arrays offer a small form factor solution for the HMD image sources since they do not need a separate illumination optics. Features of the present disclosure implement a MicroLED display system that incorporate a plurality of monochrome projectors (e.g., three MicroLED projectors) to generate three monochrome images (e.g., red, blue, and green images) that are separately input into a single waveguide of the HMD and combined to form an image that is displayed to the user. By utilizing a single waveguide that includes a plurality of spatially separated input regions (e.g., a region for inputting blue light, a region for inputting red light, a region for inputting green light), the MicroLED display system of the present disclosure may reduce the form factor of the HMD device because of the reduced number of plates that may be required to combine the three monochrome images.

Abstract: Systems, apparatus, and methods for combining a sugar-based solution, such as maple syrup, and cannabinoids are provided, in which a method, for instance, may comprise creating maple syrup and separately warming the maple syrup and a cannabinoid concentrate to a first temperature and combining them to create a mixture. The method also may comprise applying a bottom heat source and/or a top radiant heat source to the mixture and increasing the mixture's temperature to a second temperature sufficient to initiate crystallization, while stirring at a first RPM set point. The method also comprises discontinuing, upon the mixture reaching full crystallization, the heating and stirring RPMs. A method for creating an orally dissolvable tablet is also provided, comprising taking the combined cannabinoids and maple syrup in powder form, mixing with a secondary formulation and an excipient mixture, and pressing the resulting mixture into tablet form.

  • Publication number: 20160027410
Abstract: Various display device implementations disclosed herein include display drivers with enhanced capabilities. In some implementations a display driver may be capable of updating a display while a central processing unit (CPU) is switched off or operating in a sleep mode. Some such display drivers may include a display driver clock and a display driver memory. The display driver may be capable of receiving image data from the CPU, including image data for display updates, and storing received image data in the display driver memory. The display driver may be capable of updating the display with stored image data at times indicated by the display driver clock. Some display drivers may include a graphics processing unit capable of generating image data for updates of the display. In some such implementations, the graphics processing unit may be capable of dithering image data.

  • Patent number: 8736590
Abstract: A method of driving electromechanical devices such as interferometric modulators includes applying a voltage along a common line to release the electromechanical devices along the common line, followed by applying an address voltage along the common line to actuate selected electromechanical devices along the common line based on voltages applied along segment lines. Hold voltages may be applied along common lines between applications of release and address voltages, and the segment voltages may be selected to be sufficiently small that the segment voltages will not affect the state of the electromechanical devices along other common lines not being written to.
