    Abstract: A mailer form adapted to be advanced through a folder-sealer apparatus having a first roller and a second roller, with the second roller having a number of sealing projections extending therefrom, includes a first edge portion having a first number of pressure sensitive adhesive patches disposed thereon. The form also includes a second edge portion having a second number of pressure sensitive adhesive patches disposed thereon. The mailer form is configured such that during advancement of the mailer form between the first roller and the second roller (i) the mailer form is folded by the first roller and the second roller such that the first number of pressure sensitive adhesive patches are aligned with the second number of pressure sensitive adhesive patches, and (ii) both the first number of pressure sensitive adhesive patches and the second number of pressure sensitive adhesive patches are aligned with the number of sealing projections of the second roller.

The input guide is configured to receive a first mailer form of the number of mailer forms from an output mechanism of a printing device during a first period of time. The apparatus also includes a manual feed tray which is securable to the housing. The input guide is further configured to receive a second mailer form of the number of mailer forms from the manual feed tray when the manual feed tray is secured to the housing during a second period of time. A method of folding and sealing a number of mailer forms is also disclosed.

    Abstract: A sealing assembly for sealing an envelope having a first lateral side and a second lateral side includes a support roller. The envelope includes (1) a first enclosure sheet having a first pressure sensitive adhesive thereon, and (2) a second enclosure sheet having a second pressure sensitive adhesive thereon. The sealing assembly also includes a sealing member which is movable between the first lateral side and the second lateral side. The first pressure sensitive adhesive is urged into contact with the second pressure sensitive adhesive by interaction between the sealing member and the support roller when the sealing member is moved between the first lateral side and the second lateral side. A method of sealing an envelope having a first lateral side and a second lateral in a document security apparatus is also disclosed.

    Abstract: A sheet receiving sorting device or mailbox has a sheet infeed including a short, pivoted distributor to direct sheets from the infeed, selectively or in sequence, to the input ends of an array of sheet guides extending at angles radiating from the center of the infeed outwardly to the inlet ends of a vertical stack of trays. At the sheet infeed ends of the trays are drive rolls for carrying the sheets into the trays depending upon the positioning of the distributor with respect to the array of sheet guides. The frame structure enables removal of the guides for sheet jam removal.
