    Abstract: A method is provided to determine the conditions required for the production of homogeneous protein-colloidal gold complexes. The method uses the electrophoretic migration of a discrete fraction of a sample of protein-colloidal gold complexes to identify, and produce homogeneous complexes. Further, the methods provided are used to select the pH of adsorption and the quantity of protein required to produce homogeneous complexes.
