    Abstract: A carpet take-up device, for use on carpeting that has been glued down, comprising a spool, a means for rotating the spool, a blade adapted to wedge underneath the carpet and having a knife at each of opposite longitudinal ends, a roller bar, and a rear wheel support. The rotation means rotates the spool so as to roll up the carpet as the blade is pulled forward beneath the carpet.
