  • Publication number: 20160006144
Abstract: A co-axial electrical connector having an outer shell and a co-axially positioned center signal pin with a resonator ground conductor.
    Type: Application

  • Patent number: 5551355
Abstract: An apparatus for incinerating the metal shaft of hypodermic needles which includes a housing having adjustable electrodes mounted therein which when supplied with electric current and contacted with a metal shaft of a needle will instantly disintegrate the needle to a safe residue which is collected in a tray within the housing. Gases generated within the housing from the incineration process are purified by passing through filters and ionizers before being vented to atmosphere.

  • Patent number: 5016858
Abstract: A hydraulic lift mechanism for raising and lowering heavy loads such as a camper shell above the cargo area of a truck includes a generally planar U-shaped lower base frame attachable to the truck and a substantially identical plan-view shape upper load support frame for attachment to the camper shell or other load. Two identical X-shaped scissors jack-like, lifting structures comprised of two crossbeam members pivotably joined to one another at their centers, and pivotably joined at their forward ends to vertically aligned positions in an upper and lower side frame member, are spread apart by a hydraulic powered cylinder pivotably fastened at one end to a side rail of the base frame and pivotably fastened at the other end to a crossarm, to raise the load support platform.

  • Patent number: 4863108
Abstract: An apparatus for breaking up, dissolving and flushing away animal excrement left on the ground or lawn includes a hollow cylindrical handle section coupleable to a garden hose at its upper end, and terminating in a hollow, frusto-conically shaped spray head at the lower end of the handle section. The spray head includes a hollow exterior shell section, and an orifice plate transversely positioned within the hollow interior space of the shell sections, the orifice plate having plurality of regularly spaced orifices whose entrance openings communicate with pressurized water introduced into the upper end of the shell section by the handle section, and whose lower exit openings produce streams of water at various angles adapted to efficiently break up a pile of animal excrement.

  • Patent number: 4700814
Abstract: A locking device for a circumferentially grooved reciprocating member is disclosed. In one embodiment the locking device includes a housing, through which the reciprocating member passes, having a pair of spring biased locking elements and a release element disposed therein. Locking is achieved by insertion of the locking elements into the reciprocating member circumferential groove. Unlocking is effected by displacement of the release element towards the locking elements along a line perpendicular to the reciprocating member to withdraw the locking elements. In an alternative embodiment a spring biased retention pin is provided to selectively engage and retain the release element in proximity to the locking elements. An annular ring may be disposed about the reciprocating member adjacent the circumferential groove to displace and disengage the retention pin from the release element.

  • Patent number: 4137752
Abstract: A method for leak-testing synthetic separators for interleaved planar electrodes is described. The method includes installing the separator such as a diaphragm or membrane about the electrodes to create an enclosed chamber within the separator, supporting the electrodes from a supportive cell housing, pressurizing the created chamber to a predetermined pressure with a gas, slowly filling the housing with a liquid to a level above the separator and observing the separator during the filling operation to determine if leaks are present in the separator.
