  • Patent number: 11954531
Abstract: A method comprises: storing, by a computing system, a relational data in a data lake; spinning-up, by an orchestration system of the computing system, an ephemeral computing node on a computing device of the computing system; importing, by the ephemeral computing node, a copy of the relational data from the data lake into a relational database management system (RDBMS) installed on the ephemeral computing node; after importing the copy of the relational data into the RDBMS, performing, by the ephemeral computing node, a computing process that runs within the RDBMS and that uses the copy of the relational data; and after completion of the computing process on the ephemeral computing node, spinning-down, by the orchestration system, the ephemeral computing node.

  • Patent number: 7594679
Abstract: A three-section outrigger for a boom truck or the like which may be pivotally moved with respect to the boom truck so that the outrigger may be extended outwardly, forwardly and downwardly with respect to the boom truck to eliminate the need for an outrigger at the front end of the boom truck.

  • Patent number: 7331607
Abstract: A dual mode A-frame outrigger for a boom truck or the like is provided wherein the outrigger may be operated in conventional fashion or which may be pinned to the side of the boom truck or the like so that the outrigger assembly may be used to stabilize or level the boom truck without being swung outwardly from the side of the vehicle as in typical A-frame outrigger assemblies.

  • Patent number: 7188698
Abstract: A control knob throttle modulation system for a truck-mounted aerial device such as a boom truck or the like wherein the speed of the truck engine is controlled by a switch button positioned in a control knob located at the operator's station rather than by a foot pedal which frees up the foot pedal to be used for other crane operations or to eliminate the same.

  • Patent number: 7150497
Abstract: A stand-up operator's platform for a truck-mounted aerial device wherein a turret is supported for rotation on the frame of the truck about a vertical axis. The stand-up operator's platform of this invention is secured to one side of the turret for rotation therewith which enables the operator, when standing on the platform of the stand-up operator's platform, to observe the operations of the aerial device regardless of the rotatable position of the turret thereof.
