  • Publication number: 20230276992
Abstract: An apparatus and system for dispensing a food and beverage product where a flowable product is extracted from a flexible pouch and where an opening exists through which the flowable product evacuates the flexible pouch. The opening has a lock seal that locks the flowable product within the flexible pouch when a pressure is applied to the flexible pouch. There is also a zip seal located in the opening that is configured to lock the flowable product within the flexible pouch after the lock seal has been removed when pressure is applied to the flexible pouch.

  • Publication number: 20210284417
Abstract: An apparatus and system for dispensing a food and beverage product where a flowable product is extracted from a flexible pouch, and where a nozzle region exists through which the flowable product evacuates the flexible pouch. The nozzle region has a lock seal that locks the flowable product within the flexible pouch when a pressure less than a first threshold value is applied to the flexible pouch. There is also a frangible seal located above the nozzle region that is configured to lock the flowable product within the flexible pouch when pressure less than a second threshold value is applied to the flexible pouch and when the first threshold value is larger than the second threshold value.

  • Patent number: 8034050
Abstract: A catheter with temperature sensing has a catheter body and a tip section with an integrated thermosistive temperature sensor on its outer surface. The temperature sensor includes a microfabricated thin film assembly of which one layer is a sensor layer of thermoresistive material. In one embodiment, the tip section has a flexible tubing with a temperature sensor on its outer surface. In another embodiment, the tip section has an extended tip electrode with a temperature sensor on its outer surface.

  • Publication number: 20080216287
Abstract: A hinge mechanism pivotably connects the two housings of a clamshell-type electronic device, and includes a hinge head, a hinge body, and retaining boots around the hinge head and hinge body. The hinge mechanism and the retaining boots fit tightly within openings integrally formed in a housing of the device. As a user pivots the housings between open and closed positions, the retaining boots expand to fill in any spatial gaps that might develop between the exterior surface of the hinge mechanism and the interior surfaces of the openings. This maintains the tight fit between the hinge mechanism and the housings.

  • Patent number: 6984332
Abstract: A gyroscope comprises a piezoelectric substrate having a surface. Disposed on the surface are a resonator transducer, a pair of reflectors, a structure such as a metallic dot, and a sensor transducer. The resonator transducer creates a first surface acoustic wave on the surface. The pair of reflectors reflects the first surface acoustic wave to form a standing wave within a region of the surface between the pair of reflectors. The structure is disposed on the surface within the region, wherein a Coriolis force acting upon the structure creates a second surface acoustic wave. The sensor senses the second surface acoustic wave and provides an output indicative thereof.
