    Abstract: A wireless hoist system including a first hoist device having a first motor and a first wireless transceiver and a second hoist device having a second motor and a second wireless transceiver. The wireless hoist system includes a controller in wireless communication with the first wireless transceiver and the second wireless. The controller is configured to receive a user input and determine a first operation parameter and a second operation parameter based on the user input. The controller is also configured to provide, wirelessly, a first control signal indicative of the first operation parameter to the first hoist device and provide, wirelessly, a second control signal indicative of the second operation parameter to the second hoist device. The first hoist device operates based on the first control signal and the second hoist device operates based on the second control signal.

    Abstract: A High Definition ViscoElastography (HDVE) inertial driver apparatus of an imaging system and method includes one or more HDVE inertial driver devices. Each HDVE inertial driver device has: (i) a driver interface that enables receiving a driver signal from a controller; (ii) a resonating surface; and (iii) an inertial driver communicatively coupled to the driver interface and mechanically coupled to the resonating surface to independently generate a resonating displacement of the resonating surface. A support member of the HDVE inertial driver apparatus positions the two or more HDVE inertial driver devices into acoustic contact with a body to produce a shear wave field through a volume of tissue within the body or a material within an object.

    Abstract: The present invention is directed to a multi-purpose gardening tool. In one preferred embodiment, the tool includes an arcuate central base. Extending from one end of the base is an arcuate scoop adapted to dig into, scoop up and transport a quantity of material. Extending from an opposite end of the base is a substantially V-shaped cutter having a sharpened peripheral edge for cutting through roots and the like. Preferably, the base, scoop and cutter are aligned and have a common radius of curvature to define a smooth bottom surface. The tool includes a handle extending generally parallel to a longitudinal axis of the tool. To protect a hand of a gardener gripping the handle, the handle offset from the peripheral edges of the scoop and cutter and the handle is supported at opposite ends by a pair of solid circular supports.
