  • Publication number: 20250166045
Abstract: A network computing system provides an interactive menu to enable a consumer to initiate an order session. The network computing system can detect the order session is for placement of a group order, and can further provide a recommendation to the requesting consumer with respect to personalizing the group order for individual members of the group.
    Type: Application
    Filed: January 17, 2025
    Publication date: May 22, 2025
Inventors: Paul Clayton Smith, Andrew Timothy Szybalski, William Danner, Michael Stumpo, Sonya Ives, Clare O'Brien, Wendi Chiong

  • Publication number: 20220261730
Abstract: A network computing system to coordinate a completion time of at least a portion of an order request with a target completion time, where the target completion time reflects an estimated time of arrival for a transportation provider with respect to a location of the supplier. The network computing system can coordinate the completion time by determining a timing of when at least a step in the preparation of at least the portion of the order request is performed by the supplier, based on an estimated arrival time of a transport provider. The network computing system can perform one or more control actions to influence the target completion time, based on the determined timing.

  • Publication number: 20050197538
Abstract: A plunger has an orifice therethrough with a fixed given or variable orifice. The plunger is mounted to a commercially available syringe that expands the functionality of the syringe and its applications. The plunger allows for reagents and flushing of cleaning fluids to be added to the syringe without having to move the plunger up and down from vessel to vessel. The plunger also allows the use of a multiplex valving assembly to be added for air incorporation into the sample or liquid path. This is for use with sample array work and for cleaning gas or liquid samples from the syringe. Samples can be introduced from the closed part of the end of the syringe through the top of the plunger assembly. Many chemical and bio-related applications can be performed where it was not possible to use a standard syringe having a solid plunger.
