  • Publication number: 20100088977
Abstract: A method and system finish member for forming a wall surface is provided. The finish member comprises a substantially organic material having a length along a longitudinal axis and a thickness perpendicular to the longitudinal axis and the finish member is flexible along the length in a direction of the thickness.

  • Publication number: 20100075051
Abstract: A method and apparatus for coating a surface is provided. The apparatus includes a shield. The shield includes a substantially planar body including a thickness, a length, and a width. The body further includes a first edge matingly shaped complementary to a boundary between an area of an object to be coated and an area of the object to be protected from being coated, and a first side wall extending outwardly from a second edge of the body, the second edge adjacent the first edge.

  • Publication number: 20050087432
Abstract: A float switch system for limiting to desirable levels current and energy entering a tank of combustible liquid comprises: a float switch disposed within the tank; an interface circuit external to the tank and coupled through wiring to the float switch; a passive transient suppression circuit coupled to the wiring external and in proximity to the tank, and operative to limit current and energy entering the tank over the wiring to the desirable levels; and a control circuit coupled to the float switch through the transient suppression circuit and to the interface circuit, the control circuit operative to monitor the status of the float switch with current within the desirable current level and to energize the interface circuit based on the switch status.

  • Publication number: 20050028538
Abstract: A procedure and apparatus for start-up spinning of a thread in an open-end spinning apparatus is provided. A first and second auxiliary roll-pair are presentable within a thread course during start up spinning. A source of a suction air stream within the spinning apparatus is positioned below the first and second roll-pairs. The source of suction air stream creates a suction flow of air to induce the thread end into the spinning apparatus for start up spinning. A control center is in communication with the first and second roll-pairs, so that the control center controls them. A thread storage unit is positioned between the first and second roll-pairs proximal to the course of the thread. The thread storage unit is in communication with the control center so that the thread storage unit is activated to store and release the thread during start up spinning.
