  • Patent number: 12008276
Abstract: The present disclosure describes a queued message service (QMS) that provides a multi-region, low-latency and reliable service for managing a large number of durable message queues for async targeted communication. This general-purpose, internal service QMS may be implemented in print queues as well as command queues for sensors. One example implementation of QMS is a print service. Such implementation introduces status indicators for printers internally, wherein such status indicators may identify whether a printer is blocked, offline, suspected of failure, properly functioning, etc.

  • Publication number: 20240142764
Abstract: Methods and systems for controlling and maintaining the pressure in an ultra-stable optical resonance cavity are disclosed herein. A method for controlling and maintaining the pressure in an ultra-stable optical resonance cavity, for example, comprises providing an ultra-stable optical system housed in a vacuum housing enclosure and a pumping system in communication with the vacuum housing for maintaining a pressure in the vacuum housing less than 1×10?6 Torr. The pumping system may comprise combination pumping achieved with the simultaneous use of a getter pump and an ion pump that provide passive and active pumping, respectively. The pumping system may also comprise passive pumping only with a getter vacuum pump only. The present invention, disclosed herein, achieves passive, power-free pumping in ultra-stable laser systems thereby enhancing the portability of such systems.

  • Publication number: 20240138392
Abstract: The present invention relates to a fishing enhancer to aid a fishing enthusiast in locating a line or fishing lure by enhancing the ability of a live sonar device to detect the size, shape, positioning, and location of a fishing lure (or line) after the lure has been cast into water. The present invention relates to a mixture having a formula including a carrier component, a scent component, a visual indicator and/or active particles. • Patent number: 11972581
Abstract: This disclosure presents a process to determine an alignment parameter for geosteering a wellbore undergoing drilling operations. The process can receive one or more azimuthal image log data sets, one or more geology logs, and other input parameters. The image log data sets can be transformed to better approximate the geology logs, such as transforming a 3D representation to a 2D representation and flattening out curves represented in the original image log data. The geology logs or transformed image log data can then be moved to create an approximate alignment between the other log data. The movement, which can be a sliding movement, a linear movement, a tilting movement, an angling movement, or a rotating movement, can be used to determine the determined alignment parameter or final alignment parameter. The alignment parameter can be used as input into a geosteering system for the wellbore.

  • Publication number: 20240135028
Abstract: A system and method of dynamic search result permission checking. A system that provides end users the ability to search an index (i.e., Shinydocs Index) built from content from one or multiple source repositories, and only display results for which the user has sufficient permissions at source to view. User credentials are validated “on the fly”, such that these checks are performant across a multiple of possible back-end repositories sequentially or simultaneously. The resultant search results from the Index may be sourced from many disparate repositories, each of which have their own unique permission structure (to view individual items). A method for handling permissions in multiple repositories in a secure (yet performant) fashion in order to only display search results that the end-user is allowed to view based on source system permissions.

  • Publication number: 20240094055
Abstract: Embodiments herein describe spectroscopy systems that use an unmodulated reference optical signal to mitigate noise, or for other advantages. In one embodiment, the unmodulated reference optical signal is transmitted through the same vapor cell as a modulated pump optical signal. As such, the unmodulated reference optical signal experiences absorption by the vapor, which converts laser phase noise to amplitude noise like the other optical signals passing through the vapor cell. In one embodiment, the unmodulated reference optical signal has an optical path in the gas cell that is offset (or non-crossing) from the optical path of the modulated pump optical signal. The unmodulated reference optical signal allows removal or mitigation of the noise on the other optical signal.

  • Publication number: 20240095288
Abstract: A system and method of improved performant content source crawling. A content source crawling technology that is performant and focused on an initial rapid crawling of a content source to find specific file signatures so that it can determine an inventory of files that have been modified since the last full index event, thereby minimizing the time and computing resources necessary to perform a full crawl on just the select files to update to the search index. A method of Signature Flagging is disclosed and is used to selectively crawl the metadata about contained files and folders found within a content source in order to create that information in an Index within the Shinydocs Search Library.
