  • Publication number: 20170106929
Abstract: A bicycle that is illuminated using light arrays mounted to its seat. The bicycle has a frame that extends from a front first end and an opposite rear second end. A seat is mounted to the frame between the first end and the second end. A first light array is supported by the seat that illuminates the frame between the seat and the first end of the frame. A second light array is also supported by the seat. The second light array illuminates the frame between the seat and the second end of the frame. Light from the arrays illuminates the frame of the bicycle and the area surrounding the bicycle. This makes the bicycle far more noticeable during low-light conditions.

  • Patent number: 9284742
Abstract: A device and method for preventing water from gathering within the vertical well of the skim filter port of a swimming pool filtration system. A plug assembly is provided that has an expandable body and a shaft that extends below the expandable body. The plug assembly is inserted into the vertical well of a pool's skim filter port. The shaft under the expandable body is mechanically interconnected to the intake port within the vertical well. The expandable body is then expanded within the vertical well by being either vertically compressed or internally inflated. The expandable body fills the vertical well and prevents any significant amounts of water from collecting in the vertical well.

  • Patent number: 6196707
Abstract: An improved pedal assembly for bicycles. The pedal assembly includes a pedal casing. The pedal casing has a top surface, a bottom surface and at least one side edge surface. A plurality of LEDs are disposed within the pedal casing wherein light from said LEDs is viewable through the side edge surfaces of the casing. At least one battery receptacle is also disposed within the pedal casing. A first activator is disposed in the pedal casing below the top surface, wherein the first activator is triggered when a predetermined force is applied to the top surface. Similarly, a second activator is disposed in the pedal casing below the bottom surface, wherein the second switch is triggered when a predetermined force is applied to the bottom surface. The first activator and the second activator are electrically interconnected to both the battery receptacle and the LEDs so that the LEDs are electrically connected to the battery receptacle when either the first activator or the second activator are triggered.
