Publication number: 20180279931Abstract: The Dickerson medical meter assist diabetic people which manage their insulin levels and tells them the amount of insulin intake that they need at the time. The device uses a fingerprint sensor to read insulin levels and provides instructions if steps are needed to control blood sugar immediately. The Dickerson medical meter includes a USB port so that you can charger the internal battery and save readings for medical offices. The battery level indicator will let a user know when it is time for a recharge. The device can be used with liquid insulin. Patent number: 6308336Abstract: A visor or cap brim is disclosed that prevents the pressure of the wind from blowing the cap off of the user's head. The visor portion is a generally planar surface that is held out away from the front of the cap portion that sits on the user's head. This creates a single large passage between the visor/bill and the cap and the visor/bill is held at such an angle that it acts a “spoiler” to press the hat down more firmly on the user's head in a high wind while at the same time shading the eyes and forehead from the sun. The visor portion of the cap is removably attached to a semi-rigid headband that encircles the base of the main body of the cap. This attachment is accomplished by either a resilient clip or a mortise taper connection at the terminal ends of a pair of arms attached to the visor portion.Type: GrantFiled: November 22, 2000Date of Patent: October 30, 2001Inventors: Michael Stephenson, William Dickerson

Patent number: 6086076Abstract: A suspension system for a large dump truck. The dump truck having a main frame with laterally spaced frame members each associated with a rear wheel mounting hub with a wheel on each of its sides. Each hub is attached to a respective frame member by an attachment member pivotally attached to the respective frame member by a pivotal mounting and a suspension spring pivotally attached to the hub by a spherical bearing and to the respective frame member at a pivot mounting. The connections of the hub allow for limited pivotal movement of the hub about transverse and longitudinal axes relative to the frame members. A dump body is pivotally attached to the frame members at the pivot mounting or to the rear and above a suspension pivotal connection at a body pivotal connection.Type: GrantFiled: July 11, 1997Date of Patent: July 11, 2000Assignee: BHP Coal Pty Ltd.Inventors: Hans Prem, Francis Allen Bartley, Darin Ross Miller, Alan William Dickerson

Patent number: 4098235Abstract: A fuel injection control apparatus of the kind in which an auxiliary throttle air flow monitor responds to flow of air through an air passage, and by that response influences switching means for the injectors such that the injector on-time is determined by the flow monitor. It is a feature of the apparatus that a control element is arranged to intrude into the air passage to form a restriction to flow of air and thereby influence the flow monitor position, and to also provide a stop which is engageable by the flow monitor to determine a minimum flow position of that monitor. The control element position is regulated by a device which responds to changes in engine temperature so that the control element intrusion is at a maximum under cold conditions and is at a minimum or is non-existent at normal operating temperature of the engine.Type: GrantFiled: August 25, 1975Date of Patent: July 4, 1978Assignee: Repco Research Proprietary LimitedInventor: Alan William Dickerson
