Abstract: A dental illumination apparatus includes a lamp system mounted on a support structure. The lamp system includes a light source. A control system is provided for controlling the activation of the lamp system. A light guide shields soft tissues local to teeth of a subject from effects of ultraviolet radiation. The light guide includes a lamp attachment formation coupled to the lamp system, and a recording device in communication with the control system, the recording device including memory which stores the amount of time that the light source has been on since the beginning of a treatment procedure. A lip retractor, coupled to the light guide, is adapted to receive the lips of a patient.

Abstract: Impression trays for taking dental impression of a subject are discussed herein with particular discussion extended to impression trays know as triple trays. Triple trays are so coined for their ability to simultaneously capture the upper and lower impressions and the bite registration of a subject during a same dental procedure. The trays described elsewhere herein incorporate features that strengthen or increase the rigidity of the frame so that an impression taken of the dentition of the subject using one of the trays described elsewhere herein is not distorted and is therefore an accurate reflection of the true dentition.

The four channel retainers are attached to four resilient members, which are adapted to bias the four channel retainers outwardly away from one another, which in turn retract the portions of the lips that are retained by the four channel retainers to expose the teeth and/or mouth. Optionally, the retractors may be equipped with a tongue retainer. If equipped, the tongue retainer is adapted to limit the tongue to further expose the backside of the teeth.

Abstract: A disposable inner mould or form for the construction of a boat hull, such mould comprising a hollow hull-shaped form made of flexible non-stretch plastic sheet material tailored in the shape of the inner surface of the boat hull. There may also be provided means for securing such form in an inverted position on a base member, means for inflating said form to adopt its predetermined non-stretch tailored hull-shape as aforesaid, and contour control means for supporting portions of the form to retain it in its tailored hull-shape. The form may have an opening at the stern end for reception of a rigid panel therein.
