A message identifier matcher may match a sent message identifier for a sent message of the sent messages with a received message identifier for a corresponding received message of the received messages at a corresponding recipient device, and a delivery notification generator may send a delivery notification to an originating device of the originating devices that originally sent the sent message, thereby indicating receipt of the message at the corresponding recipient device. A delivery notification network path along which the message identifiers and the delivery notification are sent is different from a message delivery network path along which the message is sent.

The connection hub may use authentication information of the plurality of mobile operators, to thereby enable provision of network resources from the plurality of service providers to the service consumers. The connection hub may include an operator discovery engine configured to access a number resolution service and match a telephone number of a mobile device of the service consumer with a corresponding mobile operator of the plurality of mobile operators, and an operator interface configured to forward the authentication request to the corresponding mobile operator, for use of the telephone number and the mobile device in completing an authentication of the service consumer at the service provider, and associated provision of a corresponding network resource to the service consumer.

The method involves receiving by a consumer device an address book entry from an enterprise device. The consumer device is enabled with enhanced address book capability provided by any advanced communication exchange systems. Further, in an aspect, the received address book entry is activated to enable the enterprise device to push business information to the consumer device. In another aspect, selecting the address book entry invokes the advanced communication services supported by the enterprise device. By accessing one or more of the advanced communication services, business information from the enterprise device is received via the selected communication exchange service. In an aspect, the received business information is customized based on online presence information of the consumer device.

Abstract: A system and method for facilitating electronic communication between people who speak different languages. An SMS message including content in a first language is received at a network node. It is then determined whether the content in a first language is received at a network node. It is then determined whether the content of the SMS message is to be translated to a second language before being sent to a recipient. This determination can be based on an embedded code or on the fact that a bounded session has been previously established. The content is then translated from the first language to the second language, and the SMS message is thereafter sent to the recipient directly from the network node at which the translating step was performed.

Abstract: A keypad having a virtual floating image that appears to a user to be in a plane other than the apparent plane of the keypad surface. More particularly, the indicia on the keypad appear to float above or below the surface of the device. The keypad can be, for example, the keypad on a cell phone. For such an application there would be more than one array of indicia present on the keypad. For example, there might be ten arrays of indicia, which provide the numerals from 0 to 9 and two more arrays to provide virtual images of the * and # keys. In some embodiments, the keypad is integrated with an illumination source that light up the indicia. The present disclosure also provides a method of manufacturing a key pad with a virtual floating image.

Abstract: An Operator Charging Gateway (OCG) facility within a Mobile Commerce environment that, among other things, provides a bearer-independent and delivery-agnostic charging platform that, inter alia, (a) uncouples all of the particulars of the delivery of content, services, etc. from the myriad of activities, challenges, etc. of charging and (b) adds substantial value to each of the involved parties (including, for example, Mobile Subscribers, Operators, Merchants, etc.). Within a wireless messaging ecosystem an OCG may leverage the capabilities of a centrally-located, full-featured Value-Added Service Provider.

Abstract: A user feedback generation and management capability, operating possibly within a Value-Added Service Provider, provides key feedback (e.g., information, updates, etc.) to a Mobile Subscriber (MS) during, for example, the MS? receipt of rich content on the MS? Wireless Device (WD). The feedback may be conveyed to a MS? WD through, possibly inter alia, one or more Short Message Service messages. Such feedback may, possibly inter alia, provide details as to why certain content might not be received, suggest one or more alternative content delivery means, etc. and thus serve to obviate what would otherwise be (1) a frustrating, disappointing, etc. user experience for the MS and (2) increased customer service costs for the different content and service providers.

Abstract: An air-conditioning condensate drainage system for mounting to the roof membrane of the roof structure of buildings or for construction thereof directly onto the roof membrane of a building structure. The air-conditioning condensate drainage system is defined by one or more strips of material having an isolation membrane having a bottom surface for assembly to a roof membrane. A pair of spaced ridge elements project upwardly from the isolation membrane and cooperate with the isolation membrane to define an air-conditioning condensate drainage channel. In the alternative, ridge strips may be disposed in spaced relation and fixed directly to a roof membrane to define condensate drain channels along the roof membrane to in-roof drains. The condensate drain strip or ridge strips maybe molded or extruded and maybe formed directly on and adhered to or fixed to the roof membrane to define the condensate drain channels.
