  • Publication number: 20150105130
Abstract: An image matching game is described that provides multiple game display elements to a user. Each display element cycles through displaying one of a plurality of images. The user provides input to stop the changing display on one image. With each successive game display element, the user tries to stop the changing images on the same image as the previous display elements. When the user successfully stops the changing display elements and matching images across the game display elements, the user receives an indicia of reward. If the user fails to successfully match the image on any one element in the series of game display elements, the game turn either ends or the user loses one of a set number of attempts provided by the game. Depending on the implementation of the game, the user may receive interim level rewards for matching fewer than all of the game display elements.

  • Publication number: 20070285875
Abstract: The present invention relates generally to an electrical charge storage device (ECSD) with enhanced power characteristics. More particularly, the present invention relates to enhancing the current density, voltage rating, power transfer characteristics, frequency response and charge storage density of various devices, such as capacitors, batteries, fuel cells and other electrical charge storage devices. For example, one aspect of the present invention is solid state and electrolytic capacitors where the conductor surface area is increased with smooth structures, thereby reducing the distance separating the conductors, and improving the effective dielectric characteristics by employing construction techniques on atomic, molecular, and macroscopic levels.

  • Publication number: 20070273335
Abstract: Polarized electric charge storage devices economically provide high available capacitance. The present invention directly employs polarized electrical charge storage (PECS) devices such as polarized capacitors or electrochemical batteries in general AC applications with a novel circuit topology. In one embodiment, an anti-series configuration of first and second PECS devices are used within an AC network for enhancing operation of the AC network. At least one DC source is provided for maintaining the PECS devices forwardly biased while they are subjected to an AC signal. The AC signal, which drives an AC load, is applied to the anti-series devices. The devices are sufficiently biased by the at least one DC voltage source so that they remain forwardly biased while coupling the AC signal.

  • Publication number: 20060164282
Abstract: An ultra wideband (UWB) jamming system comprises a processor, a memory, a pulse generator, a UWB transmitter, and an UWB antenna. In an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, the RF signals of the RTED triggering device are evaluated and a set of interference parameters defined for the RF signal of that device. The interference parameters are predetermined to interfere with the reception of the RF signal of that device by a RTED receiver. The interference parameters are sent to a pulse generator that drives a UWB transmitter to generate a signal has a statistically high probability of introducing an error in a bit stream of the RTED signal before it is received by the RTED receiver thereby preventing detonation of the RTED.

  • Publication number: 20050269892
Abstract: The present invention generally relates to the use of electrical charge storage devices in the rotors of induction machines. Optimal induction machine rotor electrical field requirements increase with rotational velocity and inversely to frequency. Pseudocapacitance and other inverse frequency capacitance adjustment methods are employed to provide for that need and thereby improve induction machine rotor performance parameters. Optimization of electrical reactance is the foundation for improvements in power transfer, torque, efficiency, stability, thermodynamics, vibration, thermodynamics and bearing life in rotational induction machines. LC rotor methods and designs are outlined herein to achieve these objectives.

  • Patent number: 5537991
Abstract: A nonimaging solar collector. A method and article of manufacture of a solar collector includes an outer housing transparent to light, a reflector element positioned within the outer housing, an absorber concentrically disposed relative to the outer housing, and a heat conduction fin coupled to the absorber and having a wedge shape which tapers to a smaller thickness as a function of increasing radial separation from the absorber.
