  • Publication number: 20180110678
Abstract: The present disclosure generally provides apparatuses useful for containing and dispensing pills or other medicaments, particularly in a health care context, as well as methods of using such apparatuses and systems incorporating such apparatuses.

  • Publication number: 20060260205
Abstract: A window assembly of a motor vehicle includes a pair of spaced-apart fixed window panes forming an opening therebetween, vertically spaced-apart upper and lower tracks, a sliding window pane having opposed upper and lower edges that move along the upper and lower tracks, and a camming mechanism including a plurality of cams. The cams are pivotably secured to the sliding window pane near corners of the sliding window pane. An actuator is operatively connected to the cams for selectively and simultaneously pivoting the cams. Simultaneously pivoting the cams forcibly moves the sliding window pane between a closed position wherein the sliding window pane is in a first plane substantially flush with an outer surface of the fixed window panes and an open position wherein the outside surface of the sliding window pane is in a second plane substantially parallel to and offset from the first plane.

  • Publication number: 20060175762
Abstract: A seal for the closure of a gap formed between a support member and adjacent second member. The seal has a polymeric body forming a sealing segment and a base segment. The seal segment has a sealing lip that extends into the gap to slidingly engage the second member. The base segment has a free distal end with one of a compressible portion and an articulating joint. Additionally, a channel is formed in the support member. The channel has a cavity and an opening in communication with the cavity. The cavity width is larger than the opening width so that the one of the compressible portion and the articulating joint portion is collapsible to a first width less than the opening width to permit insertions of the free distal end past the opening and into the cavity and being expandable in the cavity to a second width greater this first width to inhibit removal of the distal end from the cavity.

  • Publication number: 20060174544
Abstract: A sliding window assembly has at least one sliding pane mounted for travel along a travel path between a closed position in a first plane and an open position in an offset second plane substantially parallel to the first plane. The window assembly has travel guide apparatus for guiding its movement along the travel path between the open and closed positions. The travel guide apparatus includes a track defining an elongate slot corresponding to the travel path, a fixed guide surface having a fixed position relative to the track, e.g., a pivot pin, and components cooperatively operative as a cam and slide movement for guiding travel of the sliding pane between its open and closed positions. Typically, for generally rectilinear sliding panes, a track, guide surface and cam and slide movement are provided for each corner of the sliding pane.
