  • Publication number: 20100305970
Abstract: Techniques for managing an electronic case board accessible by mobile devices are supported. A system may include a central medical information management system that maintains information regarding ongoing treatment of patients. Medical professionals may use mobile devices to access and display the information in a user-friendly “case board” that can identify patients in a medical facility, where they are, the status of their treatment, and who is responsible for them. The case board may be separated into logical phases of care, with patients progressing through the phases on the board in near real time. The system can permit entry of information regarding treatment, such as billable event information, to move patients between phases of care on the case board.

  • Publication number: 20050252434
Abstract: Horizontally disposed fins are located in a plane in alignment with a raised trolling plate with fin trailing edges proximate the leading edge of the raised trolling plate. A mounting bracket of a trolling plate assembly serves to mount the fins superjacent the anti-cavitation plate of a propulsion unit.

  • Publication number: 20050205784
Abstract: A single sensor that can operate in multiple bands and display either one radiation band alone or multiple overlaid bands, using an appropriate color choice to distinguish the bands. The multiple-band sensor allows the user to look through at least one eyepiece and with the use of a switch, see scenes formed via the human eye under visible light, an II sensor, an MWIR sensor, or an LWIR sensor, either individually or superimposed. The device is equipped with multiple switching mechanisms. The first, for allowing the user to select between radiation bands and overlays, and the second, as with most thermal imaging sensors, for allowing the user to switch between “white-hot/black-hot” i.e., a polarity switch.

  • Publication number: 20050129193
Abstract: Apparatus, and an associated method, for providing a Web-based directory with automatic dialing capabilities that may be used by the user of a standard wireline or cellular telephone to establish contact with entities having SIP phones or other IP-based communication devises. The Web-based directory includes not only the names of various entities, but information on how to establish voice contact with them as well such as IP addresses or other contact numbers. A Web-based directory user establishes an Internet connection and retrieves one or more Web pages of the Web-based directory, selecting from them one or more entities from among those listed.

  • Publication number: 20050113108
Abstract: Apparatus, and an associated method, by which to facilitate routing of a telephone call originated at an originating station to a designated telephonic station. The designated telephonic station is designated responsive to the location at which the intended called party is positioned. Positioning indicia is determined and stored, automatically, without intervention by the party to whom the call is placed. The location information is stored at a location server that is accessed and used to select the designated telephonic station according to instructions maintained at a call routing instructor.

  • Publication number: 20020173318
Abstract: An assembly, and an associated method, for controlling the granularity at which a content provider is able to access positional indicia associated with the positioning of a mobile station. A profile database is created which is selectably accessible by a content provider. Positional indicia associated with the positioning of the mobile station is maintained at the profile database. The content provider requests access to the positional indicia stored at the profile database. And, positional indicia associated with the mobile station is selectably permitted to be provided to the content provider at a granularity level at which the content provider is permitted to access the positional indicia.
