  • Patent number: 5558225
Abstract: A storage container, primarily for photographs and their negatives, is formed as a one-piece member of plastic material. A rectangular housing is formed by a base and pairs of parallel spaced sidewalls and end walls. A flat panel is pivotally mounted on the base and swings into the housing to form a first storage compartment with the base for receiving the negatives. The photographs are placed on the panel and are retained in the container by a closure lid which is pivotally mounted on one of the end walls of the housing opposite of the pivotal mounting of the panel. The lid is moved into a spaced parallel juxtaposition with the panel to a closed, latched position forming a second storage compartment between the panel and lid for storing the photographs. Printed indicia is placed on an inclined end wall of the lid to identify the contents of the container. A partition on the panel enables the second storage compartment to store two stacks of 3 1/2.times.5 photographs or one stack of 4.times.6 photographs.

  • Patent number: 5203836
Abstract: A mixing bowl set is disclosed comprising nestable bowls (2,4), each having a radiussed sidewalls (8), and a downturned upper rim flange (14). The rim flange (14) has a lower edge 20 which is spaced apart from the sidewall (8) a distance which varies from a maximun at the rearward end (24) of the bowl to a minimum at the forward end (26). Accordingly, a channel (22) is defined below the rim flange (14) which is wider at the rearward end, sufficiently so to admit the digits of a hand, whereby making the rearward portion of the flange (14) a handle for the bowl. A pourspout (28) is provided in the forward end of the rim flange (14) and is configured to be entirely below flange (14). Accordingly, there are no projections beyond the rim flange of the bowl throughout its entire circumference which could interfere with the nesting of one bowl into a like-configured larger bowl.

  • Patent number: 5148571
Abstract: A lint brush is disclosed comprising a unitarily formed, one-piece brush body (4) having a handle portion (16) at one end and a brush block portion (14) at an opposite end, the block portion having top and bottom recesses (20) and at least two transverse through bores (26) extending therethrough, whereby one recess communication with the other. A pair of identical insert members (6,8) are inserted into the recesses, and provide stakes (42) which project through the block portion through bores and into appropriately located apertures (41) of the opposite insert plate, whereby securing the assembly together. A lint attracting pad (12) is provided for each insert plate, and overlaps outwardly directed insert plate teeth (36), which, upon insertion of the insert plate into a block portion recess, trap lower edges of the lint pad against sidewalls (22) defining the recess. The pad is securely held for reciprocal movement across a garment.
