Abstract: A door mountable storage system hingedly attaches to a door to provide storage space behind the door. The assembly includes a container having a bottom wall and a perimeter wall coupled to and extending upwardly from the bottom wall. The perimeter wall includes a front wall, a rear wall, a first lateral wall and a second lateral wall. The front and rear walls are coupled to and extend between the first and second lateral walls. A door is provided. The door has a door hinge attached to a first side edge of the door. A plurality of knuckles is coupled to the container and each is vertically aligned with respect to each other. Each of the knuckles is couplable to the door hinge for supporting the container on the door hinge.
