Abstract: An improved apparatus capable of being employed by a single human user, to example, to improve his or her ability at any or all of a number of racquet games, comprises an elongated member having a weight; and a hand grip including at least two elements which are influenced, e.g., by one or more springs, to be apart. The user by grasping these elements and squeezing them together while simulating forehand and/or backhand racquet strokes obtains substantial benefits, e.g., improved grip and arm strength, improved coordination and improved racquet game proficiency.
