  • Patent number: 4447105
Abstract: The invention provides a terminal bridging adapter for mounting at least one electrical component in electrical series circuit between each of a plurality of spaced rows of substantially colinear terminals wherein the electrical component has dimensions greater than the space between each of said spaced rows of terminals. This terminal bridging adapter comprises a housing constructed of insulative material and defining a connector portion including at least two open ended ports for receiving a like number of terminals therein. These ports are respectively disposed so as to be positionable in registry with a like number of terminals. A component portion also defined in the housing includes at least one component cavity for receiving at least one electrical component and is offset from said ports so as to be positionable offset to one side of the terminals.

  • Patent number: 4365582
Abstract: A differential pressure signal device employing an audible vibratory reed assembly having the property of being activated automatically upon being subjected to a predetermined energy level. The assembly is preferably all plastic and includes a unique rockable flapper valve that is automatically activated when the differential in pressure between two chambers reaches a predetermined level. The opening of said valve provides a large inrush of air that activates and operates the audible vibration of said reed until the differential in pressure is lowered below said predetermined level.

  • Patent number: 4193310
Abstract: This invention relates to a two piece plastic idler pulley formed of identical portions including a hub, a web and a rim with identical fastening means on the two half portions which permit the two portions to be joined together as the idler pulley. The hub of the idler pulley has a through bore which is inversely tapered whereby the hub will flex when subjected to a workload and will capture the lubricant internally of the bore. The rim carries diverging means which extend radially and laterally outwardly from the rim to insure proper seating of power transmission means such as a belt. The diverging means also is capable of engaging the power transmission belt when it is inadvertently seated on the hub to move the belt into seated relationship on the rim for proper operation of the device.

  • Patent number: 4126369
Abstract: A compact electronic component and contact retainer device for use with electrical wiring terminal blocks having a plurality of adjacently positioned elongated terminal means disposed in aligned successive rows. The device includes a two-piece dielectric housing designed to accept an electronic component associated with spaced contacts adapted to accept a pair of spaced terminals in a row falling in a common plane. The housing, in its interior, specifically provides integral means for orienting and complementary retention of the contacts and electronic component means connected thereto while the component and the outside of the housing includes indicia means for proper orientation of the device relative to the terminals to thereby insure the proper polarity or direction of current flow through the electronic component means contained therein.

  • Patent number: 4091762
Abstract: An audible vibratory biased reed assembly having the properties of being activated or commencing vibration upon being subjected to a predetermined energy level. This assembly utilizes a straight, flat, elongated, closed or clapping reed, to produce a clatter or buzzing sound, with the reed being biased through application of a bias force to one edge to distort its flatness adjacent its free extremity. The bias force is applied by an angular transverse bridge which substantially triples the frequency of the mechanical clatter.
