    Abstract: Wireless sensing and communication system including sensors located on the vehicle or in the vicinity of the vehicle and which provide information which is transmitted to one or more interrogators in the vehicle using wireless radio frequency transmission technology. Power to operate the sensor may be supplied by the interrogator. The sensors include tire pressure, temperature and acceleration monitoring sensors, weight or load measuring sensors, switches, temperature, acceleration, angular position, angular rate, angular acceleration, proximity, rollover, occupant presence, humidity, presence of fluids or gases, strain, road condition and friction, chemical sensors and other similar sensors providing information to a vehicle system, vehicle operator or external site.     Abstract: Arrangement and method for mapping a road during travel of a vehicle having two data acquisition modules arranged on sides of the vehicle, each including a GPS receiver and antenna for enabling the vehicle's position to be determined and a linear camera which provides one-dimensional images of an area on the respective side in a vertical plane perpendicular to the road such that information about the road is obtained from a view in a direction perpendicular to the road. A processor unit forms a map database of the road by correlating the vehicle's position and the information about the road. Instead of or in addition to the linear cameras, scanning laser radars are provided and transmit waves downward in a plane perpendicular to the road and receive reflected waves to provide information about distance between the laser radars and the ground for use in forming the database.

    Abstract: An improved modification to a typical T-shirt, to convert it into a full headdress, by adding first and second strips of releasable, press-together bonding material, such as Velcro (trademark) in spaced-apart relation on one the shirt torso panels near the panel-sleeve seam, one set above the other, so that when the top of the shirt is folded downward, one-half the depth of the sleeves, to place the first strip on one side of the shirt and the second strip on the other side of the shirt, and the torso-covering panels draped over the wearer's head and down over the rear of the wearer's neck, the folded sleeves may be wrapped rearward about the head and brought into overlapping contact along the strips to form the headdress.
