  • Patent number: 8730476
Abstract: A lithographic apparatus has an alignment system including a radiation source configured to convert narrow-band radiation into continuous, flat and broad-band radiation. An acoustically tunable narrow pass-band filter filters the broad-band radiation into narrow-band linearly polarized radiation. The narrow-band radiation may be focused on alignment targets of a wafer so as to enable alignment of the wafer. In an embodiment, the filter is configured to modulate an intensity and wavelength of radiation produced by the radiation source and to have multiple simultaneous pass-bands. The radiation source generates radiation that has high spatial coherence and low temporal coherence.

  • Publication number: 20130271274
Abstract: A safety system for an ore processing facility using a mobile mechanisms such as dozer-type wheeled vehicles operating in proximity with an excavator providing ore to a remote milling site. The excavator or earth moving mechanism has a positioning sensor (such as GPS) generating data indicative of the location of the earth moving mechanism and each of the mobile mechanisms also include positioning sensors. An analysis mechanism receives the positioning sensor data from the earth moving mechanism and the positioning sensor data from said mobile mechanisms and creates a distance calculation which is used alert the alarm in the earth moving mechanism and the alarm in the mobile mechanism if said distance calculation is less than a prescribed value.

  • Publication number: 20120098654
Abstract: A safety system for an ore processing facility using a mobile mechanisms such as dozer-type wheeled vehicles operating in proximity with an excavator providing ore to a remote milling site. Each mobile mechanism employs a transmitter transmitting a signal on a first frequency which is sensed by the excavator and placed on a display to avoid collisions between the two. The excavator also monitor for lost teeth from the scoop using another sensor/transmitter combination and warns the operator is a tooth is lost.

  • Patent number: 7854825
Abstract: A symmetrical double-double contact mechanism for an electro-deposition mechanism. Using a base insulator, a cap block insulator is formed to support four series of electrodes of two different types (anode and cathode). • Publication number: 20060289301
Abstract: An edge protector in which the edge protector is configured to encircle an edge of an electro-deposition cathode. The edge protector has an internal channel, and, in the preferred embodiment, a pair of lips which engage opposing faces of the cathode. In the preferred embodiment, the internal channel is shaped so that the portion of the internal channel closest to or proximate to the lips has a width substantially greater than a width of said cathode and which tapers so that the other side of the channel approximates the width of the cathode. A key is provided which is secured to the cathode and which is configured to substantially fill a void between the cathode and walls of the internal channel. In the preferred embodiment, the edge protector further includes an externally accessible slot into which an expansion pin is inserted to force the edge protector to fully engage both the key and the faces of the cathode.

  • Publication number: 20060252312
Abstract: A connector body component for a connector assembly in which the connector body component has a plurality of independent body segments secured together to form a single assembly. The connector body segments are held together within a housing member and may include interlocking structures on wall surfaces thereof. Forming the connector body in independent segments allows one body segment to be replaced in the event of damage to the connector body or one conductive element held in the connector body, thus eliminating the need to replace the entire connector body. This saves significant time and expense when repairing or modifying a connector body having a plurality of independent conductors coupled to it.

  • Publication number: 20060091004
Abstract: An edge protector for an electrode found in the electro-winning process. The protector uses an inner core configured to accept an edge of the electrode. This inner core is made from a first material which is chosen because of its ability to withstand high temperatures. Pliable lips, made from a resilient second material chosen due to its flexible nature, form a seal with the faces of the electrode. The pliable lips and the inner core are covered by a resilient skin made from a third material which withstands impace damage to the edge protector.

  • Publication number: 20050162243
Abstract: An electrical switching apparatus interface assembly provides remote actuation of the operating handle of a circuit breaker. The interface assembly includes the circuit breaker, a second switching apparatus, such as an actuating handle disposed in a remote location from the circuit breaker, a connector and an operating handle attachment including a handle-engaging segment for securely engaging the circuit breaker operating handle and an interfacing segment for receiving the connector. The actuating handle is operable between ON and OFF positions corresponding to ON and OFF positions, respectively, of the circuit breaker operating handle. The connector interfaces or links the circuit breaker to the actuating handle. In this manner, when the actuating handle is moved from the ON or OFF position, the connector moves the circuit breaker operating handle in a likewise manner.

  • Patent number: 6284109
Abstract: A spacer mechanism which is used to separate electrodes within an electrowinning process. The spacers have a central body portion which defines the distancing between the electrodes and at least four sloping arms extending from the central body. The arms are used to move the electrodes to the top of the central body of the spacer, as the electrodes are being placed next to each other. Each of the arms is ideally narrow so that the “footprint” of the spacer is minimized. The small “footprint” causes minimal disruption of the electrical flow between the electrodes so that the electro-deposition process proceeds in a uniform manner.
