Abstract: A method for producing customized object is provided. A resin (e.g. plastic or cellulose) is heated and a quaternary salt is added. The resulting admixture is used in forming a material that embodies customized characteristics. In another embodiment, a halogen-containing polymer has a quaternary molecule covalently bonded to it that results in customized properties.

Abstract: A method of forming a live-stream advertisement video clip is described wherein the method comprises: receiving live-stream video segments associated with a live-streaming session, wherein each of the live-stream segments is identified by a live-stream segment identifier, preferably an URL or an URI; updating a dynamic playlist, preferably a live-stream playlist, on the basis of the live-stream segments identifiers of the received live-stream segments; forming a static playlist, preferably a video-on-demand playlist, on the basis of live-stream identifiers in said updated dynamic playlist, the static playlist comprising the most recently available live-stream segment identifiers of the updated dynamic playlist and/or live-stream segment identifiers that are going to be available in the future; and, associating video and/or audio advertisement information with the live-stream segment identifiers.

Abstract: A vehicle alarm system with protection against power source and wiring tampering is provided. For some embodiments, the system may have a dual power source. As such, the alarm system is not easily defeated by simply disconnecting the alarm unit from a siren (or the power source from an alarm unit).

Abstract: A process and system for integrating information stored in at least two disparate databases. The stored information includes consumer transactional information. According to the process and system, at least one qualitative variable which is common to each database is identified, and then transformed into one or more quantitative variables. The consumer transactional information in each database is then converted into converted information in terms of the quantitative variables. Thereafter, an integrated database is formed for predicting consumer behavior by combining the converted information from the disparate databases.

The playset can have a beach member, a wave member, and a pivot axle for enabling the wave member to pivot into and out of proximity with the beach member. Decorative elements, such as surfboards, dolls, and inner tubes, can be retained relative to the wave member and can be moved, such as by a drive wheel and motion conversion assembly combination, during a pivoting of the wave member to enable a realistic wave riding simulation. A plurality of water panels can simulate an underlying water surface. The wave member could be moved manually or by a motor arrangement, and electronic play effects could be induced in response to a movement of the wave member.

Abstract: An image forming device for separating a printable medium from a continuous protective backing strip attached thereto includes a stepped stripper roller shaft encircled by a roller sleeve adapted to press a platen of the device wherein the image forming device causes the continuous strip to pass over a stripper bar and directs the protective backing strip to move under the stripper bar and between the platen and the roller sleeve while the printable medium continuously moves out of the device from over the stripper bar.

Abstract: An expandable and changeable playset building system with at least one retained playset member, which may comprise a resiliently compressible panel, and at least one squeeze connector, which may be formed from a pair of opposed gripping surfaces, for selectively retaining the retained playset member by frictional engagement. An interactive base connector unit can be provided that simulates a structure, such as a bridge, a tree, a fence, a merry-go-round, or a parking gate, in miniature and in three dimensions. A plurality of squeeze connectors can be coupled to the interactive base connector unit for retaining a plurality of retained playset members. Also, first and second squeeze connectors could be rotatably coupled together. Further, a plurality of squeeze connectors with a plurality of different orientations could be fixedly joined to form a fixed universal connector.
