Abstract: A tool basket adaptable for removably engaging a selected pair of upright scaffolding members associated with a typical scaffolding structure wherein the tool basket includes opposed side walls, opposed end walls, and a bottom wall extending therebetween forming an easily accessible storage compartment for holding and storing tools and other work related items. The bottom wall portion of the tool basket includes a pair of spaced apart socket members adapted for cooperatively receiving the upper end portion of the scaffolding support members, at least one of the socket members including an elongated receptacle for accommodating variations in the spacing between the pair of upright scaffolding support members, the length of the at least one elongated receptacle providing adjustability for engaging and capturing the pair of spaced apart scaffolding support members regardless of any variation in the distance therebetween.
