  • Patent number: 10022115
Abstract: A suture anchor has an entry tip and a hollow cylindrical body. The entry tip is integral to a hollow cylindrical body. The entry tip is at a distal end and the body has a proximal end and projections formed on an external surface of the body for retaining the anchor in a pre-drilled hole formed in bone. Four suture openings are formed on the tip at the distal end. Each opening is connected to an internal cavity of the body. The four suture openings are divided into two pairs, a first pair and a second pair. Each first or second pair of two suture openings are recessed in a respective first or second external channel formed in the entry tip. Each pair of two suture openings is configured to receive a suture.

  • Publication number: 20160199068
Abstract: A pick device for debriding and preparing a bone surface has a handle, a cannulated debridement shaft and a drill wire. The shaft has an open lumen to receive a drill wire through a proximal end of the handle. The drill wire has a tip end to scrape bone surfaces to create micro-fractures to enhance tissue and cell regeneration. The distal tip can be oriented and provided in a pre-set angle of 30, 45 or 60 degrees relative to the cannulated shaft. The drill wire has a diameter of at least 1.0 mm, preferably in a range of 1 to 3 mm and most preferably 1.45 mm and flexibly bends at the removable distal tip. The drill wire is made of Nitinol, has a stop affixed to the proximal end to limit micro-fracture penetration at the distal end and the distal end has a trocar tip to cut bone tissue.
