  • Patent number: 8784064
Abstract: A multipart bladed rotor (1) for a flow machine, particularly a gas turbine or steam turbine or an axial compressor, has at least two disks (2) whose front sides, which face one another, are connected to one another, particularly by positive engagement, in a separating plane (7) so as to be fixed with respect to rotation relative to one another, wherein a groove (10) for receiving a blade root (14) of at least one rotor blade is formed in the separating plane.

  • Patent number: 5323593
Abstract: The present invention discloses an unattended lawn mowing system in which multiple solar powered self propelled, random motion lawn mowers are used singly or in combination to mow a pre-defined lawn area. The mowing zone is defined as a region of grass bounded by naturally occurring or man made obstacles of infinite variation including, but not limited to, high grass, flowers, trees, fences and lawn edging. Each mowing unit is a solar powered, self-propelled, random motion lawn mower which comprises a frame with a set of drive and coaster wheels on the frame. A set of batteries and battery powered electric motors are mounted on said frame with output means from the motors to power drive wheels and a cutting mechanism on the frame. Photovoltaic panels are mounted on said frame to receive solar rays and convert them into electrical power to charge the batteries with means for controlling the orientation of the solar panels so as to face the direction of greatest solar intensity.

  • Patent number: 4610066
Abstract: Apparatus for effecting the mounting and removal of a hub from a shaft is disclosed. The combination of a piston and cylinder is designed relative to the hub to be mounted to the shaft such that by securing them in one position the hub may be forced onto the shaft utilizing pressurized fluid and by securing the piston and the cylinder in another position the hub may be forced from the shaft using a pressurized fluid.
