  • Patent number: 7513274
Abstract: An inflatable test plug for insertion into a two way clean out during hydrostatic testing of a building's interior sewer pipes. The test plug includes a hollow cylindrical body portion having a closed top, and a closed bottom portion. The test plug is adapted to receive and hold air under pressure during an inflation phase and to release the air under pressure during a deflation phase. The cylindrical body portion and the closed bottom portion of the test plug body are adapted to expand during inflation. The closed bottom portion is adapted to expand prior to the cylindrical body portion during the inflation phase, and adapted to deflate prior to the cylindrical body portion during the deflation phase. The closed bottom portion has opposing locking indentations in its outer surface adapted to receive opposing inwardly extending projections located in the mid-portion of the two way clean out.

  • Patent number: 7252117
Abstract: A stub-out cover for protecting the outer surface of a stub-out line. The stub-out cover includes a substantially rigid, molded tubular member open at one end and closed at the other end. A plurality of flexible tab members extend from the inner wall of the tubular member inwardly toward the longitudinal axis of the tubular member. Each tab member has a height that is slightly greater than the distance between the inner wall of the tubular member and the outer surface of the stub-out to be protected. When placed onto a stub-out, the tab members bend to tightly engage the outer surface of the stub-out.

  • Patent number: 7059692
Abstract: An improved tool box adapted to be positioned onto a joist or beam. The tool box has a central passageway extending between and through its front and rear walls. At least two web cross members extend between the side walls of the central passageway. Each of the web cross members have a plurality of generally rectangular shaped cutouts positioned along a common longitudinal axis, each of the cutouts communicating with each other. Each cutout has a width that is greater than the width of that cutout located immediately above it. The cutouts form upper joist receiving raceways. A lower joist receiving raceway is formed by the first and second bottom edges of the web cross member and that portion of the side walls of the central passageway located below the bottom edges of the web cross member.

  • Patent number: 6786561
Abstract: A tool box adapted to be positioned onto a joist or beam. The tool box has front and rear end walls attached to right and left side walls, and a handle. A tiered passageway extends between the central portions of the front and rear end walls. The tiered passageway includes an upper passageway tier having a first width, a middle passageway tier having a second width, and a lower passageway tier having a third width. Right and left floor portions extend between the bottom edges of the box side walls and the bottom edges of the lower passageway tier. The third width is greater than the second width, and the second width is greater than the first width. The various widths are adapted to fit over joists and beams of varying width.

  • Patent number: 5893177
Abstract: A cabinet in a bathroom wall is mounted for use by a user sitting on a toilet. A mixing valve in the cabinet receives a flow of water from hot and cold water inlets and provides flow regulation and control. A flexible conduit is coupled to the valve and is provided with a hand grip removably held in place in the cabinet so as to position a nozzle of the hand grip for discharge of the flow of water into a drain opening. A temperature indicator is served by a sensor responsive to the temperature of the flow of water and provides a readout to the user. Testing of the water temperature may also be achieved by touch.

  • Patent number: 5666676
Abstract: A cabinet in a bathroom wall receives hot and cold water flows with a mixing valve in the cabinet serving to additionally provide an on-off control. A flexible conduit is provided with a hand grip removably held in place in the cabinet so as to position a nozzle of the hand grip over an outlet for discharge of a preliminary water flow for temperature testing purposes. A thermometer is served by a sensor responsive to the temperature of a mixed flow and provides a readout to the user. Testing of water temperature may also be achieved by touch.

  • Patent number: 4792854
Abstract: An apparatus is disclosed for temporally processing video signals. A temporal filter is used which enhances temporal response of video at around the peak of the human vision transient system's temporal response (which is around 10 Hertz), and results in moving images which appear sharper.
