  • Patent number: 11982232
Abstract: A turbine engine heat exchanger has: a manifold having a first face and a second face opposite the first face; a plurality of first plates along the first face, each first plate having an interior passageway; and a plurality of second plates along the second face, each second plate having an interior passageway. A first flowpath passing through the interior passageways of the first plates, the manifold, and the interior passageways of the second plates.

  • Patent number: 11920517
Abstract: A turbine engine heat exchanger has an array of heat exchanger plates mounted to an inner case wall for providing heat transfer from a bleed flowpath to a bypass flowpath. Each plate has: first and second faces along the bypass flowpath; a proximal edge mounted to the inner case wall; an inlet along the proximal edge; an outlet along the proximal edge; and a branch segment of the bleed flowpath passing from the inlet to the outlet.

  • Patent number: 10000340
Abstract: A vented bucket for use in an endless conveyor system, such as the conveyor belt of a grain elevator or feed elevator, includes two oppositely disposed side panels joined by a rear panel, a bottom panel, and a front panel. At least one vent tube extends along or within one of the rear panel, side panels or front panel in a substantially vertical orientation.

  • Publication number: 20180141757
Abstract: This disclosure relates to a vented bucket for use in an endless conveyor system, such as the conveyor belt of a grain elevator or feed elevator. More specifically, the disclosed vented bucket includes two oppositely disposed side panels joined by a rear panel, a bottom panel, and a front panel. At least one vent tube extends along or within one of the rear panel, side panels or front panel in a substantially vertical orientation. The vent tube facilitates loading material into the vented bucket by allowing air trapped between the bottom of the bucket and the incoming material to escape into a lower opening of the vent tube and exit via an upper opening of the vent tube. The vent tube further facilitates unloading material from the vented bucket by providing a pathway for air to reach the bottom of the bucket, inhibiting formation of a vacuum between the bottom of the bucket and the exiting material.

  • Patent number: 4668131
Abstract: A system for pneumatically conveying a quantity of fluent particulate material from one holding tank or storage vessel to another is disclosed. A mobile frame is employed upon which is disposed an engine for operating a hydraulic pump and a vacuum blower. A material loading container in which an air permeable particle filter is disposed is pivotally connected to an adjustable boom mounted on the frame. The vacuum pump is removably connectable to the container through the filter such that a partial vacuum can be drawn upon the container to induce particulate matter to flow into the latter through a hose connected to a remote source of bulk material.

  • Patent number: 4287699
Abstract: Plastic carriers are automatically applied to sets of containers by placing the carriers on the containers with recesses in the carrier aligned with the tops of the containers. Each recess is provided with a plurality of container engaging protrusions adapted to be seated below flanges on the containers. Sets of upstanding discs are situated to exert progressively increasing forces on the carrier top surface to seat the protrusions. A final set of concave discs are deformed in accordance with the curvature of the containers in order to insure sufficient contact between the disc rims and the narrow shoulder along the outer periphery of the carrier top surface, such that the container engaging projections adjacent to the shoulder are properly seated.
