  • Patent number: 12246496
Abstract: A method apparatus, and system method for manufacturing a composite part. A set of composite preforms is placed on a set of slip sheets. The set of slip sheets with the set of composite preforms is attached to a cure mandrel to form a composite preform assembly.

  • Patent number: 6066048
Abstract: A blade punch for forming teeth in a connector plate, the blade punch comprising an elongated blade having a metal working tip at one end and a shank at the other end. The blade has an elongated cross-section defined by opposing parallel spaced planar side walls and opposing ends. Each end comprises a major end wall and a minor end wall which converge to end wall intersections, where the end wall intersections are eccentric to a plane parallel to and midway between said side walls. Each end wall intersects a side wall at an obtuse angle. The metal working tip has opposed air cut faces abutting one another along an air cut edge and opposed first and second forming faces, each of the forming faces abutting one of the air cut faces along an exterior edge. Each of the air cut faces is bordered by a portion of one of the minor end walls, a portion of one of the side walls, the air cut edge, and one of the exterior edges.

  • Patent number: 5833421
Abstract: The connector plate has a rigid, planar base, and a plurality of adjacent elongated slots defined in said metal plate. The slots are offset in a sinusoidal pattern having at least one cycle with a maximum amplitude slot position, minimum amplitude slot position and at least two zero-point slot position. Each slot has first and second reverse-oriented mirror-image teeth extending from the plate at opposing ends of each slot.

  • Patent number: 5220831
Abstract: A temperature compensation system for a force balance accelerometer is disposed within a feedback loop. A series resistor (82) is connected in series with torque coils (30,80). Connected in parallel with the torque coils and the series resistor (82) is a parallel resistor (84) having a positive resistive temperature coefficient. Series resistor (82) and parallel resistor (84) are placed in close thermal communication with torque coil (30) and a magnetic circuit that includes stators (10 and 12) and permanent magnets (14). As the temperature of the accelerometer increases, less current flows through parallel resistor (84) and more current flows through the torque coil (30), thereby compensating for a reduced torque constant of torque coil that decreases with temperature, yet, enabling the resulting output current, I.sub.o, to remain constant (for a given acceleration).

  • Patent number: 3965269
Abstract: A novel process for extracting roasted coffee using split-extraction percolation techniques is disclosed comprising obtaining an autoclave coffee extract by passing aqueous extraction liquid through the autoclave section of the percolator set, splitting the autoclave extract into a product portion and a feed portion, obtaining an atmospheric coffee extract product from the atmospheric section of the percolator set by passing the feed portion of the autoclave coffee extract through the atmospheric section, and further processing the atmospheric coffee extract product and the product portion of the autoclave extract to obtain a dry instant coffee product.
