Abstract: A work surface coupling system has power and data capability with an elongate housing defining an internal passageway and having first and second coupling regions for coupling to one or more work surface. The housing may be a one-piece unit or multi-piece assembly, and can support at least one power or data outlet positioned therealong. The internal passageway unobtrusively supports a plurality of electrical conductors associated with power or data outlets. Optional features include one or more removable side panels, laterally-extending support pads, an accessory mounting surface, and various work surface accessories such as shelving, privacy panels, and lighting.

Abstract: A media wall for supporting various types of media, such as plasma screen or flat screen television sets, as well as other types of thin media, includes an upright vertical wall to which the media is mounted. The wall may include a pair of sidewalls mounted to a back face of the vertical wall, as well as a shelf extending forwardly from the vertical wall. At least one aperture may be included for enabling power or data cables to be inserted through the wall from the front to the back. A video camera support may be mounted on the vertical wall. The wall may be pivotable about a vertical axis to allow easy access to the rear of the wall for setting up and adjusting the electrical cabling used to support the media.

While the movable table is movable relative to the cabinet, the cabinet and table are connected together by an intermediate link top which permits relative movement therebetween but interconnects the cabinet and table to define a single interconnected furniture unit. The link top is both slidable and pivotable relative to the cabinet and table to permit sliding and pivoting of the table between a closed position directly adjacent to the cabinet and an open position spaced outwardly therefrom. The link top can define an auxiliary worksurface and also defines a bridge between the cabinet and table to which cabling can be connected. This arrangement thereby permits flexible repositioning of the table while also permitting power and/or communications cabling to be routed therebetween.
