    Abstract: A method and apparatus for filling an open top carton with a liquid product and liquidating the foam generated during the filling of the carton. A plurality of dispensers sequentially fill the carton with the liquid product. A defoamer introduces a spray of high velocity particles into the foam in the container to break down and liquidate the foam. After the foam is dissipated, the top of the carton is sealed.
