    Abstract: Improved glass-cleaning compositions particularly adapted for use in cleaning windshields and other glass surfaces exposed to the external environment during operation of motor vehicles. The compositions consist essentially of (a) a lithium salt of an aminopolycarboxylic acid chelating agent, (b) a lithium salt of a linear alkylated aryl sulfonic acid, (c) an inhibitor of brass corrosion, (d) methanol and/or (e) water, and optionally, (f) boric acid, in certain proportions.
